Sorry I didn't post after christmas - a friend came up from Northampton to see me rather last minute. She went home a couple of days ago but I just lost all motivation to do surveys.
Aesop I'll post on the other thread too - I didn't make any more Vivatic money to get my next payout (turns out there's really only so many surveys on supermarkets I can do before I lose the will to live. Who knew) but some eBay/amazon/discogs money put me at £310.07
No surveys this month yet (not kidding about that lack of motivation) except for one on prolific yesterday but I'm up to £24 in eBay stuff.
Know what you mean about the surveys - I did say not to burn yourself out - the motivation does return when you 'hit' a few good ones on a run. Think it helps if you on a few sites so at least a chance of something different - if you don't get screened out eh :rotfl:£10day.2014=3213/2015=3421/2016=3238/2017=2702/2018=498..APR=12.03/300

Evening guys
Thanks for all your support and suggestions about my council tax. I didn't have the strength to deal with it today and left the paperwork at home anyway so will see if there is an email address and try to sort tomorrow. Was so tired when I got in this evening and had got cold too so got under the duvet for a nap and woke up 3 hours later! No one got any dinner but I'm sure we will all survive!
Glad to see you are back lexbubbles. We were all getting worried about you. Hope you feel better soon.
I have been getting myself in a bit of a tizzy over money recently. As I think I said before my OH had to give up his job last April and although he is working really hard at the new business it's not really making a profit at the moment. He has had a bit of help from government but didn't realise he was entitled to it for a few months and although the advisor told him they could back date it in the end they decided they couldn't.
My boys turned 20 in July which meant no more child benefit, tax credit or maintenance from my ex ( although that was more trouble than it was worth) So income has plummeted just when we have had lots to pay out with moving, renovating etc. On top of that DD graduated in June and has come home but hasn't got a 'proper' job yet. She's been very fragile but think we have turned a corner now.
To add to the stress I had a nasty letter from Concentrix accusing me of lying about my tax credits claim just before Christmas. This is because I claimed as a single person and my partner now lives with me. The renewals all came through just before I moved and I remember looking at them and thinking I wouldn't be eligible after boys birthday but then it got forgotten in the stress of the move. I received a payment in July as usual and a much smaller payment in August and that was the last one. I called them And said I no longer receive tax credits but they still want all sorts of paperwork including bank statements for when I was getting them. I have written to them explaining that my partner only moved in at the end of July which was after the boy's birthday ( not deliberate, just the way it worked out) and sent them copies of the 'infamous' council tax bills to show this and am waiting to hear back.
Their letter said they would stop my payments, which is dumb as I don't get any payments, and I could receive a fine of up to £3000! It has been stressing me out all over Christmas because I feel I am being accused of benefit fraud when my 'crime' is that I am disorganised. The most I have been overpaid would be about £50 and being as OH wasn't earning if we had made a new claim we might have been eligible anyway. I am trying not to worry about it till I hear from them. I have a sneaking suspicion my ex might have been behind all this, although I could just be unlucky. In the 6 years I was on my own I had 4 supposedly random checks from council tax and tax credits where I had to send proof my kids were still students and I wasn't living with anyone.
My goodness, I can't half ramble on!

I don't get ill very often, or for very long (I always joke that I have an autoimmune disease so the only thing allowed to attack me is me :rotfl:) but when I do I seem to get a week's worth of symptoms in one day before it vanishes again. So i get VERY VERY sick for a short period of time. I should be okay by this evening - the worst of it started yesterday afternoon so I reckon I don't have much more in me.
Just sold a book for £3.80 on Amazon which is £1.70 after fees
Edit: I am 100% going to make a hot toddy with whiskey very soon if i can stop leaking for long enough
However, my DH brought home a cough a couple of weeks ago and I seem to have started today. Also have a bit of a sore throat atm. Think I'll be joining you on the hot toddies shortly.

I'm on the Frugal Challenge, been there a couple of years, and you set your whole budgets for the year for everything and try to keep to it. Again it's up to you at what your own personal targets are set.
Think I really have enough with all the others I'm on as well, but thanks for the invite

I used to go there everyday so he was happy to do it, it was even his idea. Next time write what's in each one on the back and then she won't have an excuse lol x
I know this because I've done a couple of M shops checking up on this to ensure they are asking all the right questions and not accepting barred items. They also know that they are being M shopped so probably being extra careful.
Lists are available in POs and probably on-line. I remember that things like toiletry sets have to be in original packaging or they won't accept them.
Also I found out that they randomly check parcels and if they don't fit the criteria they are destroyed !!
