Thanks Procrastinator, that's where I was leaning, but was just thinking about a bird in the hand....
I actually only had the Best Offer option because I had the items listed at £39.99 with the option for me to accept £35 if anyone offered (great minds think alike ) but with no offers I changed it back to £35 but forgot to remove the Best Offer option!
Since there are no offers, I've now amended the listings so I'll just sit back and wait for someone to buy it :money:0 -
I don't know why it took me so long, but I finally followed everyone's lead and signed up to Prolific! One survey done, hopefully more will follow soon :money:0
-
Doing well with both Prolific and Edigital at the moment though won't be adding anything to the challenge until I cash out. Just wanted to show my faceMSE-ing since 20070

Everyones doing really well already! 2016 is looking quite fruitful
Nothing in the account just yet (waiting for slightly bigger sums to cash out), but I've completed £4.60 worth of Prolific surveys alone today, so that'll take me over the payment threshold shortly.
Plenty of xmas items to find new, loving homes for (assuming the original stores won't take them back for store credit), just need one of those nice fleabay deals to crop up. Wont hold my breath in January though. I'm thinking Feb may be more lucrative for that, as the site will be less subscribed with sellers.
That said, Carboot is definitely the exception to the usual January competition rule!! Nice hoard there£10 a day 2017 - APR £60.12 / MAR £82.24 / FEB £142.82 / JAN £241.240 -

Thanks, Surfchik:T
I was worried about listing my stuff because the free listings and 1p final value fees offer made me think everyone would be listing:(. Obviously not, or maybe my stuff was pitched too cheaply but people wanted it and I'm clear of it so I don't mind which;). I always use the auction format as they are low-value items. If I had anything that I wouldn't want to go for next to nothing I'd do a BIN with, maybe, a Best Offer option:)0 -
Had an email to say Amazon vouchers are now in at Justtheanswer so I've redeemed 2@£5. Amazed that the codes came through instantly and are now safely in my Amazon account. I intend to save them up in there this year so I can maybe buy something really nice that I need. There's always something that I need (and not just want:money:) but can't afford with real money
.
Also, just seen my latest Amazon payment of £17.22 for books sold over Christmas has now appeared in my bank account:j
Have just added £27.22 to my January total.
Good Luck, everyone:beer:0 -
The 'old 'members may recall that I deliver Phone Books and Yellow Pages 3 or 4 times a year (and grumble constantly about it:o). I always do the jobs though, I'm a glutton for punishment:rotfl:. Nothing scheduled until end of February though.
Early this afternoon I had a phone call from one of the Phone Book distribution companies asking me to do a rush job of delivering leaflets in some of the local villages:j. Well, it's a rush job for them and hopefully not for me, although she couldn't tell me how many there are and they all have to be done on Friday:eek:. I just hope the rain's stopped bucketing down by then;)
No idea of pay yet although it's always peanuts really, but when you're in as much debt as me it's a godsend:j. They pay by cheque ages after the work is done so I doubt it will add to my total this month.
It doesn't take much to cheer me up. I always feel dead chuffed when I get asked to do these jobs although I know really that there's probably nobody else stupid enough to do them;)0 -
Don't know if everyone is aware but we now have to 'claim' swagbucks bonus - I have received an email with a link to click on for it. XxxHoping to stick to the challenge this year!!

Get paid to exercise and enjoy some fresh air?? I tend to think the alternative is NOT getting paid to watch rubbish tv. You're the only person who can place a value on your own time carboot, but peanuts or not, I'd say thats easy and relatively enjoyable money right there. Good for you :T£10 a day 2017 - APR £60.12 / MAR £82.24 / FEB £142.82 / JAN £241.240 -

Well, I agree in lots of ways, that's part of why I jump at the chance:T. I did it once in a town area and it was so easy by comparison with round here where there are long potholed tracks and lanes to outlying farms and clusters of 2 or 3 cottages. I fear for my old car's suspension sometimes:eek:. Opening and closing big farm gates, negotiating dogs, geese and goodness knows what else makes it an interesting experience but definitely not all that easy:rotfl:. What can I expect though if we choose to live out in the sticks;)?
I'm looking forward to it already:j0
