  • Finally got pay out from clixsense...

How long did it take if you don't mind me asking? Clixsense seems to be taking me FOREVER! I don't think I've got the knack of that site yet.

  • Absolutely loving Prolific:j. Thanks so much, Aesop, for telling us about it:A

I've now got £18.25 sitting in there for such interesting and enjoyable surveys:j. I think I'm going to leave it there to really mount up and then withdraw it all at one go later in the year. It's safer there than in my bank account (less temptation to use it on day-to-day household spending such as groceries;))

I haven't counted it in my totals by the way, I don't count survey money until it's in my bank.

Sold a book overnight, just getting it ready to post.

    Have a good day, all:beer:

when I saw the demand this evening I cried! The most annoying thing about this all is that I find it really difficult to call them as it needs to be when I'm at work and you always have to hang on for ages and when you get through they are obviously completely incompetent
    Sharon x

I'm with Aesop on this. Email a full outline of events and complain (politely obviously) that at this time of year the situation they have caused has left you financially strained and unable to cover all costs, despite having willingly and reasonably tried to ensure their demands were met.

I rarely bother calling companies anymore and always email. 9 times out of 10, I'm either crying or swearing in frustration within 5 minutes of a call! So much for developing patience with age - I'm going into reverse lol!

Try not to panic though, as long as you are willingly keeping communication open wth them, it WILL get sorted. Might be worth notifying your bank if you think there's a risk of monies leaving your account unexpectedly. They may be able to help you buffer it if you're upfront.

Carbootcrazy, am glad you are getting the surveys now.

But a word of warning to everyone, don't leave monies in any survey site. The site could go under at any time and you will lose your money. Better to withdraw at £20, put into a high interest account or savings account and leave there. At least you are covered then by the banking overseers.

On Facebook yesterday someone's amazon account has been closed for claiming too many returns/non delivery

They had 2 items not delivered by courier, one was left in the rain and got damaged and forgot other reason.

Anyhow I don't class that as too many returns /nonreceipt. But amazon in their wisdom refuse to reopen the account or reimburse the hard earnt vouchers tge the user had in their account.

So heed these tales and don't leave monies in account.

I have done too many paid to click sites over tge years and seen them go under taking people's hardearned cash.

    Xx

I am a premium member so can cash out at $6.

Usually takes me about a month to reach payout as all I do on there is the checklist activities. If I can be bothered and be accepted for the odd survey, I can reach it much quicker.

I used to do all my tasking on clix as well which really built the balance quicker but since I joined Neobux and realised the better long term earning opportunities, I do any tasks on there.

I also had one good referral on clix but he doesnt seem to be doing much any more so not sure it is worth me renewing the premium membership in March. Will wait and see.

  • I know exactly what you mean about leaving money in survey accounts, Aesop. I haven't been a victim of non-payment myself (touch wood;)) but I know/know of several who have:(

I just thought Prolific's credentials seem to give it so much more credibility and integrity than the others and it could be trusted 100%. Maybe I'm being naieve (sp?):o.

Will withdraw in £20 blocks then and make sure I put it in an untouchable account;)
