I haven't gotten up this Sunday for quite a while but overtime is overtime. I think I already need another cup of tea *yawn*.

Does anyone else here use a NatWest Reward account? It's the one they launched a couple of months ago which pays 3% cashback on household bills if you pay by Direct Debit.

If you do, log into the My Rewards site and you will see they are currently offering 1% cashback on contactless card payments. They've been running this offer for ages but it was due to expire on 31 December, it has been extended to June now. It's a good little source of extra money if you have this account so I thought I would let people know.
  • Morning everyone!

Going to try and have an ebayfest this afternoon to start to clear some junk and recoup some money. Claimed a £10 voucher via Ipsos yesterday so totally on track at the moment. It will get a little tougher when I return to work tomorrow and get back to the normal busy kids ferrying service but I am so determined this time to make some money to pay off debt that I have been stupid enough to build up.

    Morning all

I have £89.34 to add this morning. It was cashback on my credit card which is paid once a year. Had forgotten all about it so was a nice surprise.

Still no sign of lexbubbles. Hope she's ok

Send hubby in to town to take back some unwanted Christmas presents (a watch a jumper and a dressing gown) only the Watch had the gift receipt, but in the end (2 different shops) he got £40 on one gift card and £52 on the other! (Why my mother in law spent £40 on a dressing gown for my husband is beyond me... But we move house in less than 9 weeks so I'm sure there'll be something we need that we can use that money for!

    Adding £92 to my total!!!!

    Now stands at £285.07 / £310
Very: £965.30 (must be gone by 01/07/16)
    Personal Loan: £1902.03
Overdrafts (split over 2 accounts): £1100
Credit Card: £3781.61 (currently interest free)
    Mortgage: £29,410.53 (6 years, 4 months remaining)
    Bed finance: £1450 (interest free)

As I made a good start to the year and I need to PAYDBX 16 £4156 (Pay a card off by Xmas 16) + an essential building expense of £1300 I am changing my target to £15/day. £15*366=£5490 which gives a little slack for holidays and life getting in the way

Another couple of items closing on Ebay and some extra opportunities at work - should keep me going in January
I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long
Smiling and waving and looking so fine
  • feeling a bit giddy about my eBay listings all ending tonight:o. Went a bit manic listing anything that wasn't nailed down to take advantage of the 100 free listings (which I very rarely get) and with practically no final selling fees. Never thought half of it would be of the remotest interest to buyers but, having nothing to lose, I managed to get 47 items listed. 32 of them have at least one bid:j. Still several hours to go yet for some bidding wars to break out;).

Not looking forward to all the packing though:eek:

well I have made a grand total of 36p today I can't see that I will be able to make any more than that today as don't seem to be accepted on any surveys and not close to cashing out on any.

That's still 36p more than I've made today!

I've packaged up some more books to go to Ziffit but I'm down to the rubbish now that nobody wants... I've also packaged up 4 bags for Oxfam which will at least earn me a few Nectar points, and some money for the charity. Does anyone else use the Oxfam Tag Your Bag scheme when donating items to their shops?

I am pleased to have my living room floor back finally... but I've now got a car boot full of stuff for Oxfam and as it's been raining all day I can't be bothered to take it to their shop at the moment....
