Bulb Energy Reviews: Give your feedback on the energy supplier

I swapped to Bulb around 4 months ago, I like them, seem a good company and I've used them all over the years. Website is easy to use, know exactly what I'm paying and when it gets taken by DD.
The prices are good, not the cheapest but the cheapest ones seem to be 'newish players' with NO customer feedback (or very little) so I'm happy to keep away from those!
Great idea with the referral code, haven't had chance to use it yet but time will tell OR if my friends/family come to their senses regarding switching I might get to use the code with them.
All in all no complaints here, please keep your prices keen though Bulb or you will lose us expert switchers0 -
The switch was smooth, apart from an issue where we had to submit evidence of and bills to prove our meter belonged to us and it took far longer than we expected.
problems:
I belive we are still waiting for our £25 cash back after 5 ish months.
customer service:
I have not had a good experience, the customer service does not seem to exist.
After submitting an incorrect letter reading, I have been trying to contact bulb for a month. There does not seem to be anyone at the end of the email. I just get a response to say they will contact me back in 5 days.
I have received a bill now which is £160 more than it should have been.
I would not recommend bulb, as there should be a way for people to contact them if they have an issue.0 -

What do you mean 'an incorrect letter reading'?0 -
Been with them since December 2018 paying £67 a month on a two bedroom flat. My usage around £50 a month but when son came back because I ended up in hospital he was having the heating on 24/7 and my usage shot up but I am still in credit. I emailed them when I had been in a few weeks and they wanted a meter read asking that they do estimated reads until I came out, they did this. but it has been a worry free experience all along.Someone please tell me what money is0

No complaints from me so far. My last 'bill' was more than the DD but I'm a bit in credit so no hassle about upping the DD. Never had an issue which needed sorting though - apart from a query before joining which was dealt with promptly via live chat.0

Another glowing endorsement of Bulb Energy by us.
Please use a referral link (obtainable from this site) to join them - it's be at least twice the amount MSE pay in cashback, and possibly a lot more.
Bulb Energy will also pay any early exit fees you incur from your old supplier.
And with a recent drop in their prices, they are even better valus today than they have ever been.
We sre alos pleased that they answer their customer service lines really quickly, and their knowledge, advice and support are beyond reproach
Go Bulb Energy!

Thank you for your enquiry
We are not employed by Bulb
As for the accusation of spamming, we strongly deny that assertion.
This is a feedback thread for Bulb Energy and this is our genuine feedback of that supplier. I am sorry if it does not accord with your findings, but our findings of Bulb Energy do align with the vast majority of posters on MSE
As you ask, existing Bulb Energy customers can earn £50 per switch
but we have deliberately not posted our referral cose on this site - we have plenty of friends and family to share it with as it is. You can choose from the 100's of Bulb Energy referral codes alreadly posted on this site by others if you need one.
Or look at the bottom of any MSE energy news article where I am sure you will also find a nice variety of Bulb Energy referral codes to choose from.
There's also a couple been posted in the sub-forum above - been there for a good week, so must be acceptable.0
