Bulb Energy Reviews: Give your feedback on the energy supplier

I tried to switch to bulb yesterday while they were offering the increased referral bonus, I entered all the information they requested only to get to the end and be told the database says my electricity meter is prepayment, hmmm, funny how I have switched twice since the pre payment meter was exchanged for a credit meter, their loss!0

Just for info I switched to Bulb from EON a few months ago and was very impressed, the switch was fast and I was kept well informed all the way through. Unfortunately there was a rather large price hike during the switch so I have now switched to a new supplier. The switch from Bulb was equally as smooth (although not so well informed from my new supplier), I left Bulb with £75 in credit and was informed I would receive a refund within six weeks, two to three weeks later it was in my account. So top marks to Bulb and I'll have no problems returning to them in the future.0

I joined Bulb just after the price hike so knew what I was signing up to. Today I got an email saying they are reducing the standing charge. That's the sort of price change I like. :beer:0

Afraid you will not benefit from this reduction as they are stopping the £30 dual fuel discount at the same time.I joined Bulb just after the price hike so knew what I was signing up to. The reduced standing charge equals a £30 saving per annum.0 -
I'm electric-only. They're reducing my standing charge. Not a lot.Good news! We're lowering your standing charge by £15 per year, effective from today.
We’re doing this to simplify our tariff and make it easier to compare with other suppliers.
Your new standing charge is 20.44p per day (£74.62 per year).0 -

I need to think how I will spend this windfall.
Still I suppose less is better than more.0 -
I'm on dual fuel and they're reducing my gas tariff very slightly though it won't make much of a difference.
It might run to a pint over the year :rotfl:0 -
Told me I’d save about £13 pa with their mini-shuffle on charges. I’ll not be turning the thermostat up lol0

I’m with Bulb and had no problems. £33 a month cheaper than BG.0
