    Morning All

Mr A shop done so hopefully I won't need to go out again today. I took 5 bin bags to the CS yesterday as I already had 2 and then DD decided to sort her clothes out and filled 3 bin bags. I didn't even look what was in them - I just got rid of them!

Lots to do today before my family arrive at 6 but I'm hoping to have the house sorted by 3 at the latest then start cooking them although I think I may make my apple crumble now and then that's out of the way as that is the only baking I'm doing. I may do some jellies as well so I need to do them now too.

    Natty that's awful

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

  • Morning

DS arrived home at 2.15 am, the dog was a nightmare and wouldnt settle but we got into bed at 2.30.

I am not really tired, suspect this is going to catch up with me later. Off to get ready for paid stuff, have left a list of jobs for the menfolk but there really isnt a lot to do. Will battle my way through Li@l for a few last things on the way home.

Have a good day everyone x

Morning all. Sorry but there are too many pages to catch up on so I hope you're all ok and ready for the big day tomorrow.

Yesterday I did ironing, dailies and changed the bedding. Today I've done some more paperwork and the dailies.

    Paid stuff now.

    Have a great day everyone.
Spend less now, work less later.

    Morning all.

YL - Glad DS1 got home okay.

I'm up and in desperate need of a shower but I need the ironing done first :o We're just having breakfast then DD is going to do that while I go and battle with the christmas boxes to get them back into the cupboard. Then that will be my room as tidy as it's going to get. Beds are already stripped, and I've set up a few more recordings on the dvr.

Thur 24 - Get DD packed, change beds, prep bags for tomorrow, Mr A
    Fri 25 - Celebrate!
Sat 26 - DD going away and relax :rotfl:

    To do:
Walk dog - Thur, Fri, Sat < All DD's,
Laundry - dog, dark, lights, towels
Set up recordings on dvr - Up to 27th, just going crossed eyed trying to read the small print in the RT or I'd be done!
Cards for family. - DD has done hers, I still need to do mine!
    Update accounts[STRIKE]/transfer money[/STRIKE]Thur
    Mr A List / Trip
    Clean kitchen
    Demould bathroom
    Clean bathroom
Christmas boxes away - They've made their way upstairs but I need to shift stuff in DD's wardrobe to put them away.
Tidy my bedroom - just the Christmas boxes to put away now I think,
    Dust through
    All laundry away
    Binbag dance
    Scrub yard

    Monday Mayhem..

    • Bake some mince pies and tarts etc.. yummies!!! I know it's a bit late but if I can do it then you can too
    • Mix yorky pud batter for tomorrow and pop in the fridge overnight .. it is so much better if you leave it to stew.. quick whisk and then use as normal
    • Prepare any other bits.. stuffing, salad etc. Make starters before bed.. sneaky but a great idea! - Just need a couple of things out to defrost.
    • Is the cake iced, can it be eaten without the icing on at all?
    • Wash pots before bed!
    • Check when payments need to be made, if possible set them up to go on the right date through the bank.
    • Bath time to wear everyone out..
    • Quick whizz over the clutter and carpets.
Writing a packing list for DD and realised she goes away on Saturday until Tue/Wed which is 3-4 days of clothes, then goes away Thursday until Sunday which is another 3 days of clothes. So on Wednesday I'm going to wash/dry what she brings home and just put it back in her suitcase ;) No separate list to be written for that, I'll just count that she has enough of everything going in. I think it's done, but I'll check before she packs it, although I love my lists actually seeing the stuff is what jogs my memory as to whats been forgotten.

Right, I best get moving.

    - [STRIKE]sports shop to get something for Mr N[/STRIKE]
    - [STRIKE]2 last cards to deliver[/STRIKE]
    - table centrepiece to arrange (flowers) plus 2 little ones to hang on banisters
    - [STRIKE]check bedroom and bathroom ready for BIL[/STRIKE]Just needs hoovering and hopefully an arrangement put in
    - make cake and mince pies (tomorrow's pudding is mince pie meringue)
    - final wrapping/sorting Mr N's presents
    - hoover everywhere and tidy anything that looks too bad

Making progress. Should have picked a few more bits of holly etc to do the arrangements as it's raining very large cold drops at present. Sitting here recovering from a not-too-bad trip into town enjoying a C0sta. Traffic was building up as I came home.
