    LW.. TY, beasty coyote's! ..

Mrs MP.. so pleased the money turned up.. probably not as pleased as DS though!!

Electric dried and is functioning again.. Christmas dinner not turned up yet though.. My dad brought pressies for the chillies and the grandbeasties.

    1 nail fixed
Washing kind of up to date..
5x DW... my sides are clear of pots!

Off to dig out presents and plonk girls in front of the tv for a bit while I sort Christmas out so I can go to bed at a vaguely reasonable time.

  • the money was in the case of a game he hasn't played in a while that he thought he'd have an hour on after work.

What a relief, glad it has turned up.

Oh Bossy you are so right to do this kind of thing while they appreciate it!

DS and I have crashed in front of the telly with wine (for me), crisps, nuts, chocolates and some fruit to balance things out a bit. Work was awful today (difficult member of the public) and I hope tomorrow is better and said member of the public doesnt return. Roll on lunchtime tomorrow when I am finished for the rest of 2015!

Mrs MP so glad the money has been found - must be a relief all round.

Dizzy hope the spaghetti bolognese went down well and didn't take too long to cook!

J back and I told him about Relate - his response is 'as long as I don't have to change my behaviour then fine'. Um, it's his behaviour that's causing the problems in the first place. I've explained it's not like it used to be (he went with previous wife) and things have changed - it's to find a way forward. I don't know what to think; he's just saying he's not going to take all the blame for everything. Grrrrrr. Don't know what to do as didn't expect this. I did suggest he has a hoarding problem and maybe he should talk to someone about it but that went down like a lead balloon.

Just going to knit and forget about it.

Mumof2 Jack is halfway through a two-week holiday with us; he goes home on Wednesday 30th.

Mrs MP I'm so pleased the cash has turned up; you haven't got over-enthusiastic house-wights tidying things away, have you? :D

Oh I have a teary DS tonight. He is overtired, overexcited, overwhelmed. He can't sleep. We've had a cuddle, he said lots of little thoughts are dancing in his mind:) aww bless him. So I've read him a couple of chapters of our book, cue yawning and blinking. Hopefully he can nod off now...

    Tomorrows plan is:
Haircut for DS if we are up early enough
Sort DR out - extend table and get chairs out
Sort LR out - move footrest boxes and bring a tub chair in
Sort DD room out - need to fit another bed in!
Put gammon in slow cooker - currently soaking
    Bath kids early
Sort their Xmas eve box - I have everything to go in
    S&S downstairs loo

    Entertaining the little ones simultaneously!

Glad the money turned up mrs mp xx

    Mumof2 continued hugs for you

MrsMP what a relief that the cash has been found

Bossy glad you had such a lovely trip

JJef when did you come back home? Lovely to see you and you to Boddy

I've achieved all I wanted to bar washing the kitchen floor. Plan for tomorrow:

    Early food shop
Deliver the last batch of cards
    mop the floor
    Quick clean of bathrooms
    Wrap last of the presents
    Make PiBs

Going to do my ironing now so that is clear. No more laundry until after Christmas day for me as I don't want it drying indoors getting in the way.

Aaaaahhhhhhh I can't bloody believe East Sussex Healthcare.. They've only gone and sent my FIL home without a care package in place, to his wife who is 80 years old and has health issues of her own. So she has to turn him, feed him, dress him, make sure he eats food and drinks enough = although the drinking thing is a problem as that is what the first issue was, he was dehydrated and she didn't notice it hence the blue lights trip to hospital. She also has to make sure his head doesn't drop while he is sitting up otherwise he will have an episode - basically his brain doesn't get enough oxygen from the arteries in his neck as they close up, so he goes into a massive black out and takes forever to come out of it. He has also turned aggressive with his dementia too.. There is no speciaiist equipment in place or anything like that at the moment, all he has is an ordinary bed. I mean seriously how can they send him home when he needs full time care...what were the care assessment team thinking of... I could bloody scream..

Oh on top of that his heart could give out at any moment..

  • Oh natty that sounds like a nightmare for you all especially over Christmas when it's going to be a skeleton staff on the end of a phone if you a lucky. I hope that you don't get dragged in to doing more than is good for your own health.

LW, funny thing and this will sound weird when things go missing I ask out loud if it can be returned, I'd tried this with the money but to no avail. Things have been known to reappear in really obvious places that I know I've already looked. Ds isn't even sue why he decided to play that game when he got him from work. And no I haven't been on the sherry, well only a small glass.
