Flylady cards arrived so thank you, especially to Natty for organising it. They went straight up on the wall which now looks much better having gone from 6 cards to 27 including others I received today :D There's also plenty of space for family cards when we get them. Tree is also done, Christmas boxes are together and ready to go upstairs to be put away, we're just having lunch then we'll sort the sofa, get the cover in the wash and then start on the wrapping.

Thank you to everyone for the cards which have just arrived - I now have a lovely display on the kitchen and DR window sills.

Making slow but steady progress this morning.... DH is doing as he's told and staying put on the sofa. His temperature has spiked again :( but I can pick up his ABs from the hospital while I'm out this afternoon. One of his railway modelling friends is coming round to keep him company for an hour or two.

    Hey all :)

Not fly zone here this afternoon. Although I did potter this morning with laundry, DW, grocery delivery etc.

We are quite subdued after yesterday's excitement - what an amazing experience! Reindeer, Huskies, the real Father Christmas (I believe!), snowmobiles, tobogganing and generally frolicking in the snow IN THE ARCTIC CIRCLE!!!! Was a complete o.m.g. day.

But we are shattered, and I've just had my lovely gynae appointment so have been told to take it easy for the rest of the day - I do feel a bit queasy and wobbly. Yuck. But all sorted so that's the main thing.

Mum babysat and she's gone now with a jar of 20p mincemeat lol apparently I don't have enough pies so she's going to make some :T gotta love hm ones :)

Also wrapped gifts from my brother and got all the shopping put away. So we are ready for Christmas here.

Electickery posivibes for chez pigpen xx
Sorry about the kitty kazw xx
Happy belated Yule to the LW household xx
Findy vibes for lost money and keys and healthy vibes for poorlies. I've tried to keep up but I'm sure I've missed something :o

  • Glad you had such a lovely time bossy.
Just took some last minute gifts over to neighbour's and had a coffee while she showed me more photos of her new grandchild.
Cards all read and hung up, thank you everyone.
No news yet on Dh getting home any earlier so going to be heading off to dentist with ds2 in a bit then going to make a start on tea and mince pie baking.

I had a lovely surprise this morning - postie brought me a package containing lots of cards from Flylady friends, and a fabulous pressie. "Thank you" doesn't do it all justice; you really are a lovely bunch of people! So completely unexpected, too.:A Thank you all so much.:o

Right, what vibes do we need -
    Finding vibes (keys and cash)
GWS vibes for all with ailments (I was particularly alarmed to read of Mr Ionafan's fainting spell)
Kitchen-and-boiler-fixed vibes for Piggers - and I'd better have a quiet word with Coyote to leave you be henceforth!
Dry house vibes for Dizzy Imp

Jack's new bottle of pills has been delivered, so he'll have his meds as prescribed. I can't believe his owners didn't check there were enough in the bottle!:eek:I did have to laugh at the little chap last night; it was pouring with rain when we went out for his evening walk; we got as far as the poo-bin at the end of the alley, he did what he as out there for, right next to the bin, (so nice and easy to pick up and dispose of), and turned round to head resolutely for home! What a sensible little dog!:D
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
