!!!!!!.... PIP assessment appointment is finally through.. they've only given us an appointment in Leeds!!! at 3pm... that's 1.5 hours each way.. about £30 in fuel.. and my diabetic severely travel sick son who cannot get into the town centre without upchucking.. I don't think so! A 'nearer' one they can offer reduces driving time by.. 10 minutes.. I don't drive and OH has to be home with the girls and to collect Squeak.. Apparently the DWP think it is ok to travel up to 60 miles for an appointment... they can bloody well travel here then was my reply to that one!
If he was housebound what would they do?? Morons!!!
Planning is underway for NEXT Christmas.. budget to be halved.. see how we get on!
I'm so incredibly tired and I have to get dinner underway for tomorrow very soon and I just realised I need 2 picture frames for presents for 26th and to sort something for Tiddles and DD1's OH from my mother.. my brain is fried!
I will get DD2's hat finished tonight and hopefully get an early night .. DD2 finishes at 7pm today so hopefully everyone will be away to bed by 8!! lol.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Just collecting my thoughts with a coffee. Mr A is done, wasn't as bad as previous years but there were stock trolleys everywhere. I bought some nice wrapping paper for next year for the kids gifts without being too childish so it won't matter how long it lasts, a new top for DD to wear instead of a hoodie for tomorrow and when she's away, pudding for tomorrow and tea for tonight then just general groceries....and wine for me

Of course you're upset and you shouldn't feel you have to pull yourselves together. Enjoy the day, cherish the lovely memories and share the emotion together. It may not be traditionally 'happy' but it is shared love.

Maybe you are not ready for that yet, Christmas or not. Hope you have plenty to distract you tomorrow.
Pigpen we got a home visit, without asking for it, I dont actually know why. Worth asking?
Love and hugs to all my wonderful Flylady friends. I will probably be on here tomorrow at some point, it will be a fairly quiet one for us.0 -
Evening ladies.
It's a long time since I have been here but I wanted to come back and say hello and thank you for all the lovely flylady cards and messages. You are a wonderful bunch and the support you provide to one another is second to none as I found out when I called upon you in October. DD is fully recovered and doing well with a very changed attitude towards me which is a huge plus for me as I am sure some of you remember what a nightmare she used to be. I wanted to thank you all personally so could only think of a small way with your cards, and I hope someone got lucky.
I wish you all very positive thoughts for whatever you may be dealing with and hope that you all have a lovely Christmas and New Year.
Love to you all, Kaz xxxMortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -

Cinema visited and family Christmas eve meal eaten, back home everything that is getting done is done and if its not then its not that important.
All set for tomorrow, still need to set the table but everything has been looked out.
If I don't manage on here tomorrow Merry Christmas to everyone and I hope all goes well.0 -
