And thank you to whoever put a scratch card in my Xmas card, think it was Kazmeister. I won £2 and put it in the charity box that was collecting for Diabetes and British Heart Foundation.

I've been out on an errand, been to Morries, put petrol in the car, topped up the oil and the coolant (it drinks coolant, does the current Vallimobile) and got drenched.

I came home. showered and changed.

    Kids still in bed...

    Hey all

All sorted here. DS had his hair cut and we bought bin bags in the market. Room made for extra bed, more seats in LR and DR table done. DS is in bath and DD just needs her hair combing out.

Xmas eve box ready, hidden under a towel and we are just going to do nail varnish while waiting for our guests.

Gammon was put in SC at 6am so is probably ready.

I haven't really tidied the garage but there is space for any drinks or bags that arrive. I'm not worrying about that!

So Merry Christmas to all flyladies and their families- remember it's not about gifts, or food, or a clean house (admittedly they do help) but it's about being with the ones we love xxxx

Hopefully I will pop on tomorrow too, if anyone needs any moral support - we all know it can be a challenging time too xxxx

  • Many thanks to everyone - my Flylady cards arrived this morning and I have really enjoyed reading all your messages.

Last trip to town decluttered. If we haven't got it now we don't need it.

I think a nap is called for.
    :jFlylady and proud of it:j

Making progress. Should have picked a few more bits of holly etc to do the arrangements as it's raining very large cold drops at present.

    Rain stopped so foliage picked.
    Gammon in slow cooker.
All shopping unpacked and more or less put away.
Dried fruit soaking in apple juice to make mince pie later.
All Mr N's stuff wrapped and hidden.
    Recorder on for Wonderful Life.

Just decluttering a bacon roll, having got about the last 2 packs of gf rolls in Mr T.
Think house is at the stage when it needs to look this bad before it gets better, if you see what I mean..........

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Photogenic I've been Money Tipped!
Not getting very far today but I'm honestly not bothered :p DD's wardrobe has been juggled so I could get the boxes away, both beds are made and I've had a blooming good scrub in the shower. Meanwhile DD has nearly cleared the ironing pile. She's just doing her uniform, then I'm going to drag her to Mr A with me on the promise she can get whatever take-away type meal she wants for tea. ;)

Thur 24 - Get DD packed, change beds, prep bags for tomorrow, Mr A
    Fri 25 - Celebrate!
Sat 26 - DD going away and relax :rotfl:

    To do:
Walk dog - Thur, Fri, Sat < All DD's,
Laundry - dog, dark, lights, towels
Set up recordings on dvr - Up to 27th, just going crossed eyed trying to read the small print in the RT or I'd be done!
Cards for family. - DD has done hers, I still need to do mine!
    Mr A List / Trip
    Clean kitchen
    Demould bathroom
    Clean bathroom
    Dust through
    All laundry away
    Binbag dance
    Scrub yard

Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!
  • Haven't been out after all. Mil came here and hubby popped to grandparents alone. Got 2 more lots of visitors later then that's it till Boxing Day. Mr LW has called to say he's on his way home from work, so that's him all done til Tuesday. :T
New coffee machine on order from @mazon - luckily I have a small stash of vouchers on there. :money:
Jack has been walked, fed, medicated (he had to have a Prednisolone tablet as well as his Fludrocortisone this morning) and is currently snoozing in his bed.
I've given the loo a good scrub - and banjaxed my wrist yet again :wall:
Whatever you're doing tomorrow, big celebration or quiet day in or anything in between, have a good one.:xmastree:
