Love the hens coxy, they're almost done :) I stitched a small card for my OH's Dad just with the number 70 on it, didn't even take a photo as it was so plain :rotfl: Still need to frame my leopard and the butterfly, there isn't enough hours lately.

    Hi all,

Love the Christmas piece Mrs Ceejay. I adore stitching for Christmas in particular and have several designs in my stash ready to start. I seriously need a clone....

In other news I have finished the hen sampler and the knitted drummers. Just in time with the knitting as we break for the summer tomorrow so I can deliver them and that's less stuff in my house yay!

    Hi,Coxy
The drummers are wonderful, well done, that is some serious crafting, love the hens,
I know the problem, too many things to stitch and knit,DD would like a baby
Poncho crocheted for DGD but not with a cord round neck, keep trying different ways but not got it right yet.
Keep going with the shells,it's lovely when done,my friend has done it for
    her DD.
Have got my eye on a kit featuring a peacock, quite fancy it!
Just not enough time in the day

Thanks Mrs Ceejay. For the poncho could you make this in a smaller size and leave out the decorative cord?

    Hi lovelies,

I just went to the framers to collect the harvest piece I had framed. Really pleased with it, and have left the hens with him which should be ready by the end of August (needed for October). He is not cheap - this cost £36 but having had a really bad experience with our local framer which resulted in me and DH taking a piece apart and starting over, I think it's worth the money. Hens will be £43.

The hens will have a similar oak frame and a double border of pale green and white. Hope my friend approves!

It's really quiet on here. Where is everybody? I'm still plodding on with a Collecting Shells although I haven't done any this week. May do some tonight after tea. Debating whether to go to Ally Pally in October. I didn't go last year as had too much stash (not a lot has changed there!) but I didn't get any cross stitch bits in York so would love to have a browse. Will probably take a day off work and go on the Thursday.

    Hope all are well.
