^^ In which case don't bother getting an electric car. With an 'aggressive' driving style your be lucky to see 50 miles range out of a Leaf.
If your worried about running costs maybe try been less 'aggressive'

Are you ashamed of your car? We've rounded it down to anything between a VW Polo (your MPG is BAD) and BMW X5 (not bad economy!). What are you driving?!I am driving a diesel automatic.
But I do agree with gzoom, electric cars feel fast with instant, torque-y, and in some cases, no-gear acceleration, but it does suck energy! Makes you realise how powerful wind resistance is, and how steep hills are.!0 -
I drive a Colt, does it matter so much?0

The type of car you drive can change the drivers attitude. for example I used to drive an old Saab 900 banger, no aggression, no wheel spins, cutting in front of slower cars. Now my main car is a Mini JCW, which does bring out the devil in you. Always dome safely - officer.
Can the OP charge their vehicle at home?0 -
Yes the OP can charge at home, why not.0

Yes! If you're doing 30mpg in a diesel Colt, you do have a heavy right foot, or have a bad commute. If you'd been driving a bigger car, it would indicate more economical driving, and would indicate that you could make a bigger saving switching to electric.I drive a Colt, does it matter so much?
You may not have a driveway or garage, for example, or you may not be allowed to install a charger by your landlord. We don't know anything about you, so you need to provide a bit more information that you have been in this thread!Yes the OP can charge at home, why not.0
