Hey, good for you, please do not take the word of a manager, right now you are on a ticking time bomb to appeal. You must email Jason with all the info you have and what the manager said, guarantee it will be cancelled, if not Jason will hear from me.
So you know, Horizon are simply just another parking company on the "get rich scheme" scam
Do let us know please, it will not take long0 -

I'm just thinking out loud here but in the legid sphere of operation, it is a recognised abuse of a Blue Badge when the disabled person is left in the car, whilst the able-bodied driver goes-off to do whatever.
Even though you are actually disabled, the PPC-clone rues may be
applied in a similar manner - Many do have form for using the same terms/offence codes etc.0 -

possible pogo, but virtually impossible for Horizon to prove that, it is simple pictures not a video. Is just a simple Horizon money scam and not in the interests of Tesco, hence it will be cancelled0 -
As I read this, the OP, who has a disability, was the one who left the car to go into Tesco while her father remained in the car. Nothing untoward with that is there? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I got stung in Asda's car park in September I forgot my BB, I contacted the management company that owned the land and still haven't heard back so assuming they have cancelled it.
In danger of getting my head ripped off here but: As your father was the driver and not disabled he could of parked elsewhere and drove up to the front to drop you off and pick up...That way it leaves the bay available for a disabled driver.0 -

Nothing untoward at all, Just that I think the Horizon ticketer may have jumped to conclusions and took a cheap-shot. We have seen on here often enough that many blue Badge Holders have failed to heed that warning in the explanatory booklet that comes with their badge.
Which of course makes it all the more important to get it canceled by the store or landowner, so there is record/forewarning of their contractors activities.0 -
There is a moral to this story. Tesco engaged Horizon to chase off the taxis - and I bet there are no taxis hanging around now, so who do Horizon turn to? Tesco's own customers, those for whom they were trying to free up space in the first place. Oh, the irony ... if it wasn't all so sad.
Same story right across the country - fly parkers quickly dealt with and removed, leaving PPCs to turn their attention to legitimate car park users like patients, customers, freeholders, leaseholders and tenants to sate their moneylust. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum.
