Firm but fair IMO - Not unpleasant/uncalled for!

Also remember that as well as the etiquette guide, the posting guide also contains a caveat about individual boards having their own rules/ethos etc.

Uncalled for as you say, the worry is about newbies, its bad enough for them in this scam business but walking into a battle field ???

What a palaver, what a waste of everyones' time the most sensible thing that has come out of this is this By Umko.

There is a moral to this story. Tesco engaged Horizon to chase off the taxis - and I bet there are no taxis hanging around now, so who do Horizon turn to? Tesco's own customers, those for whom they were trying to free up space in the first place. Oh, the irony ... if it wasn't all so sad.rlot

And there is me thinking that UKPC were just a bunch of crooks, did not even think you were as thick as two short planks as well

It seems like every thread you start commenting on turns into a minefield of useless contradictory hogwash for the poor OP to wade through!:(

    NOPE

    Forum Etiquette
Follow these basic rules to make it a good place to be

Please be nice to all MoneySavers : There's no such thing as a stupid question and, even if you disagree, courtesy helps.

Don't feed the trolls : Sadly the web has a habit of throwing up a very small but vocal number of trolls, people who are nasty or contrary just to get a rise out of you. If someone's doing this, simply don't reply,

It seems to be the new norm that this Parking Event sub-forum is over-run by one noisy keyboard, which gives neither the authoritative help nor the sensible voice that a newbie needs.

Empire-building and land grabs should take place in the MS Arms. In addition, the Ignore button lives [its latest employment has knocked this Thread down by 2/3]

Meanwhile, quiet remedies happen in quieter ways, via pm....
