No, my MIL hates me for "taking her boy away". I've done nothing to her, my only crime was to fall in love with her son. My FIL liked me which probably made her hatred worse and even more bitter and twisted.

for the last few years it's been all my presents. as a family we've agreed that only the children are treated but the adults have a £1 limit , therefore its a pound shop christmas so you have to think outside the box0

My wife got vouchers from her boss -lovely she thought til 1) she read the card that they were in and it had been presented to her boss by someone else! and then even better 2) they were out of date:rotfl:0

The first company I worked for hit some financial difficulties and asked all their staff to take a paycut to help tide them over. The next year after they were back on their feet, all staff got a Christmas present to say 'thank you'. My dad used to buy me tins of processed peas - as they'd always come in. Errr no they wouldn't, I can't stand them.
However he died 10 weeks ago tomorrow and i'd give anything to have him here and buy my a tin of peas, I did consider buying a tin but couldn't bring myself to parting with money for them :rotfl:Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....0 -
