  • My 13 year old got Jack Wills gift set and Lynx gift set full of bath/shower/hair products.

She cant use them - we spent several months when she was younger finding products she could use without irritating her skin.

Who bought her them? Her dad! She was not impressed.

    Her sister is delighted ;)
  • the first present i ever got from my husband of 33 years was a set of pans i said if you ever buy me anything like that again i will leave you he never has

My in laws didn't get me a present this year because I'm pregnant. That was probably the worst one this year :rotfl:

My (now ex-)MIL gave me a book entitled "Good Wives?", about a month before my husband and I made our separation official! (And on the next Mother's Day, which happened to coincide with my birthday, I got a present from my husband although we were separated and planning to divorce. It was a book called, "The Bad Mothers Club".) Interesting, would you say?

My husband went to a great deal of time and effort to make me my own stocking this year. However one of the presents he picked was a packet of wet toilet tissue! (in his defence he though they were facial wipes - which I do use). He also bought me some really lovely presents including a day at a spa, unfortunately when someone asks what I got for Christmas.....
