I agree with you on the Caesers buffet. I thought it was a lot of money for what it was. TBH, I'm not much of a fan of buffets in general, DH likes them, but I'm quite happy going to the Fashion Mall food court and getting one of those gorgeous Philly chicken cheesesteaks and fries (I hope that place that does them is still there) or going to Walgreens and getting a apple Danish and juice for breakfast.
And if I'm really honest, I find that other people in those buffets put me off because some folk are very greedy - seen people with huge plates of cakes at breakfast, and people with legs of lamb on their plates at tea time.
The Wynn one is alright, we did get a free buffet each one Sunday when we were staying there as it was DH's birthday and they loaded a freebie for each of us on our players cards (he also got $15 free play as well). Anyway, I ended up playing it 'cos it was seafood & pasta night and DH got so over podged, he was back in our hotel room with belly ache at 8pm. The dangers of over indulgence (he said it was worth it though)


While I'm here, has anybody been daft, er, brave enough to do the 'Slotzilla' at Fremont Street? We went on it when it first opened, but it was only half the street long. Just wondering if anyone has done the newish one where you go down the wire like Superman?

Think it's account specific - I got NEXTFREE (free deal up to a max of 30 dollars. Typical that the longest lasting deals last for 120 days but we're not going for 122 days! Might email them

I've stayed and Southpoint a couple of times and like it a lot but I am back before May 30th so won't be able to make use of this but good to know it's an annual contest!

I'd miscalculated my dates - we arrive in Vegas 120 days from today so I managed to use my Groupon freebie :j

Just bought two Chonga margaritas for $2! (we've had them the last two trips, so they're becoming a tradition :beer:)

If we can't be bothered heading to Luxor on our first night I'll just give the certificate to someone, just glad to use the code, didn't want to let that one pass me by!
