Hello , super excited to have booked a trip to Vegas for March 2017. We last went 8 years ago. I started myvagas today to earn some buffet rewards just realised that it's linked to my work Facebook account ( not in my real name) will I have problems to collect the rewards? Also can anyone tell me if the lions are still in MGM ? Thank youShady pines ma, shady pines0

you should be ok with your work FB account but you can just start from scratch with your personal FB account
Once you redeem a reward you will have to provide a name and email address, once you do this your account will be linked to you and the name you give must match your ID that you provide to collect a reward.
If you were to try playing on another account you would not be able to redeem anything from it as your ID will be on file and linked to the first account.
(its possible it might work for partners that you have never redeemed with before as they wont have any details but don't quote me on this)

Thought I'd max up on the free food and drink to bring the holiday costs down to be honest even though I've been to Vegas 8 or 9 times I've only had a $10 gamble and that was for someone else lol. I'll see what points I manage to get.
If you use a hotel booking are there additional costs like resort charges ?Shady pines ma, shady pines0 -

hi
if you are going with someone else, they could also do myvegas so an extra 3 rewards(i think thats your limit(per 30 or 90 days unsure which) unless you buy chips and i think its a bit hit n miss if you get more than 3 rewards, can someone confirm)
Im sure there may be some drink deals on myvegas and as i said some show tickets via myvegas.
As for resort fees, lets say noone likes them !!!
I think it depends on whom you have used and if its in the t+c's if resort fees are paid or if you need to pay them, best finding out via your hotel booking !0 -
We got back last Saturday from a lovely trip. 10th anniversary vow renewal (including Elvis officiating) for friends, and many friends we either hadn't seen in years or had never actually met - all met online originally nearly 20 years ago, same place I met my husband. It was awesome - we had so, so much fun.
Also had a chance to spend some time with pebbles and Tony and also met Lesley and her hubby. Really enjoyed our time with all of them.
Bellagio was lovely, though we were in the spa tower and it rather felt like we may as well have been in Outer Mongolia at times - especially for me as I like to go down to the casino in the morning and have a cigarette or two and play the slots while my hubby is getting ready...instead I just nipped out to the bridge to Vdara for a quick smoke as I just couldn't be arsed to walk to the casino and back.
Bellagio is great, but I still think it's overrated. We had 3 nights comped (first time we had more than 2) and some freeplay and resort credit, so it was a steal...even though we had a faff when they hadn't applied the resort credit when we were ready to check out, and it took an hour in the end to sort it out. I found that really poor, if you book an offer with resort credit, it shouldn't be down to you to make sure it's applied.
We had our last 4 nights at Cosmo and took them up on an upgrade to a suite (though not a wraparound). The room wasn't ready until late afternoon, but other than that - it was great. This is our favourite hotel and my hubby got some fantastic super moon photos from the terrace.
On the MGM parking thing - for anyone who hasn't experienced it before and either hasn't paid attention or has never read about it (like me)...if you are pearl or up, have / get a copy of your players card and leave it in the car. You have to stick it in a machine at the barrier so having it on a lanyard or whatnot is a PITA. Also, it does matter which card you use when you go to get out. Hubby and I are the same tier, I entered once on his card and tried to exit on mine and oh, no...can't do that, have to exit on the same card you entered with. At least they have people at the barriers to help.
In the end, we scrapped Aviation Nation due to a combination of hubby not feeling well and an overrunning F1 race, and didn't make it to the Christmas lights display.
We did go to both the Love and Ka open houses. They were very different, Ka was probably 'better' and we really enjoyed it. Love was interesting, and they had a Q&A with the creative director and the head of costuming/wardrobe (I think). It was interesting to see some of the rehearsal, but wasn't quite as compelling as the Ka presentation. It is free, and worth doing, I think. We have seen Love 3x but understand that they have made some changes, and some further costume changes due later this year - so plan to go again in March.
Hubby also had his best win ever at Bellagio - 8 quick hits, $3k (all of which we brought home). he had the only W2G in the family for years, until I got one last summer (not in Vegas) for quite a bit more than his...of course, he took the crown back within a few months, at nearly 2x my win...so I expect it will be many years before we see this again.
I also had this, which when it landed, nearly gave me a heart attack...I'm not suggesting that $600 is anything to sniff at, but for just a second....:) And that's a Miami Vice I am drinking - thanks to the lovely Tracy for the tip on this.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0
