Well I didn't let that "awful feeling" about not seeing Vegas next year last long.
The missus maybe got her wish to visit new places in the states in June....but she could see how much it was hurting me not to have a Vegas trip to look forward to.
So have now booked direct flights at the start of October next year.
Feel a lot happier now. :T
good to hear brats !!
have you/your missus, booked anywhere else in the states?
My brother and i have done new york/vegas last year and vegas/new york this year which sorta broke up the travelling a tad and we both loved new york so would recommend new york !
(of course i d doublely recommend vegas though im sure you already knew that !!)0 -
Bobby
Our main holiday next year is New York and New Orleans.
New York has been mentioned for as long as we have been visiting Vegas.
But every time it came down to it,I would always prefer to go back to Vegas.
But as its for our 25th wedding anniversary,I have finally given in to Mrs Brats. She finally gets her wish for New York.I tried to add on Vegas with New York, but she chose New Orleans also.....to be fair,I quite fancy New Orleans, and they have a Harrahs Casino there,so I can at least hit the casino one night.0 -
so much for the opening of the new hotel/casino.
It opened early.

They have classed it as a 'soft opening' though and so the official date is still the 3rd December. I did hear the word celebrity bandied about but that could be a loose term lolThank you all who post.0 -

Happy Thanksgiving.
Yesterday for us was a day in Fashion Show Mall. We had planned Wynn lunch buffet. However, they had started Thanksgiving early and it was $46 per person. The queue was a decent size. At 13:07 we decided to change our plans, and at 13:31 we were seated in Mirage buffet for $52 total for the 2 of us.
We are not gambles, but thanks to Social rewards, myvegas, credit on my hotels.com booking we have still not paid anything for food. Basically, I am ignoring the fact that we bought porridge to have in the room, and snacks were brought with us from home.0 -

why lol?
I was thinking about popping in on its opening day but given its location and the look of it on the video I think I wont bother.0 -
Any good Black Friday deals going around? I'm going March 9 - March 13, seems insanely expensive over that weekend. Best deal I can find atm is about £625 for 4 nights at Excalibur (incl taxes and resort fees).0

for hotels direct, not a sausage. I've plugged in our dates for April and Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals are more expensive than the basic MLife member rate0
