blimey, what time of day was that? :)
That was at about 1:30. The queue was outside the barrier section. I guess everyone is desperate for their 2 free myvegas lunch reward. Noticed it was about that long as the person at the back was very, very tall and then was seated near us as we where having tea (beautiful) and coffee (awful).

We are low rollers, but hit pearl in May with a direct hotel stay and O tickets.
Never bothered me being sapphire, and just accepted the system, but loved walking passed a 1.5 hour queue for Aria buffet yesterday.
We were there yesterday. It was a nightmare. We waited 1 hour 10 minutes. We had already redeemed a reward so would have wasted it otherwise. Having said that, we used a lunch reward and got dinner. It was very nice.

And there was me thinking it was only busy on actual Thanksgiving.

    hi
the benefit of pearl status !!!!

When we were in vegas, one of us had redeemed a bellagio 241 and well we went and there was a massive queue, my brother noticed the pearl and higher line(or however it was worded) which was dead and we were seated quickly, though i did feel guilty by passing people who i assumed were waiting for a while !!!

Went again today, between 12:30 and 2, and it was quiet today.
On Thanksgiving we have tickets to the early Love performance, so will eat locally about 4 pm. We did this 4 years ago and it worked ok.

We have another Aria and 2x Bellagio to redeem before we leave. Will probably return at least one of them. Both 2 for 1 but still good value.

There were an awful lot of Asians in the line with us. I wondered if we had got in the middle of a tour group at first. I know there are tours to Vegas from some places. We were checking into Gold Coast once when a group showed up. It was crazy. Not racial profiling at all if anyone wonders. Could have been any coach full of tourists.
  • We both got the Aria lunch for 2 people, so have used it at the start of our holiday.
I woke up at 4 am, so today will be another lunch buffet as our main meal.
Been to the gym, showered, had oatmeal / porridge, ready for the day.
Currently laid on the bed in MGM Signature looking towards High Roller, Venetian etc.
Husband has just placed an order on TK Maxx. He says they have dropped their clearance prices today.

Husband has had a thin shirt and jeans on in the day. He has been fine inside and outside. When the sun goes down, he has needed a jumper or jacket for outside.

    That suits me ;)
Have been in mid December before and it was very cold.

Pretty sure I will have my "beer Jacket" on most of the time

Strange feeling....Just booked our 25th wedding anniversary trip for next year to New York and New Orleans.

Should be really excited about going to places we haven't visited before....New York has been on and off the table a few times.

But I feel kinda down, knowing I'm not going to get to Vegas at all next year. Its years since we didn't have at least one visit in the calendar year, and the thought of not getting there at all in 2017 is an awful feeling.:(

Never realised just how much I need my Vegas fix.:o

Well I didn't let that "awful feeling" about not seeing Vegas next year last long.
The missus maybe got her wish to visit new places in the states in June....but she could see how much it was hurting me not to have a Vegas trip to look forward to.

So have now booked direct flights at the start of October next year.

Feel a lot happier now. :T
