Saw this on one of the myvegas facebook groups earlier...have purchased another Spice Market buffet for $39 for 2 including drinks using the discount code. We like Spice Market. I know some of the carnivores on here don't much like it though. It has good veggie options.0 -

BoE have kept the interest rate the same, so hopefully we might see a rise in the $ for those looking to get in the short term.0 -

It is expensive, but we both think it is worth the money. We do some times go just before it changes to dinner pricing to save a few $.
We used to do the brunch with the drink bump at the weekend, but I think it has crept over $100 for two now including tax and drinks. I find that a bit expensive, although it is my favourite too. When we did that we used to go around 3pm so that we weren't drinking too early (I couldn't really do champagne with breakfast or even more than one glass with lunch if it was earlier), and it also means we got some dinner items as well. Brunch was good too as it had a crossover of breakfast and lunch items so it could be a nice range. The last couple of years we have done a late lunch during the week, which means going around the same time. From memory, I think it works out cheaper than a brunch at the weekend and then we do the drinks bump as well. One time we were there the server brought us over a couple of lidded paper coffee cups and filled our champagne glasses and told us to pour them into the coffee cup. Then filled them again and told us to pour them in. Of course we did as we were told! haha. This was just as we were leaving. He got a nice tip.0 -
Just bought my dollar at $1.31 / £1 via Tesco. I have their credit card so no extra card charges applied. While I still have 6 weeks and it may go higher thought it best to play it safe. Won't be looking at the currency rates again before we go.
This will be my second trip, the first being over Christmas 2014 and was a bit of a blur as we did a fair bit of partying. Keen to make more of this trip, certainly see a bit more daylight! While I have read a decent amount on this thread just wanted to get some extra nuggets from you guys. What are your top tips for Vegas? Whether it be places to visit, places to eat or bargains to take advantage of what are the things you feel should be on everyone's list when visiting Vegas?0 -
In May we spent a rainy weekend day in Fashion Show Mall, so were going to go to Wynn buffet as we were nearby. However, it was Mother’s Day and they had a special on (read they had increased their prices). It priced us out to be honest, and we never ended back at the top end of the strip. We will definitely be going in November, but we will more than likely go midweek.
Buffet are great for us as a couple. I am allergic to chicken and fish, but also love vegetables and salads. Husband is a pie and chip guy, so often eats unhealthily. It really does my head in as I have to watch what I eat, and he goes mental. He does teach 2 x 1 hour spin classes a couple of times a week though, so burns loads of calories.
On a different, we have just started Social / Total Rewards. Not 100% sure why we have never done it in the past, but hopefully should be able to acquire a moderate amount.0 -

1.31 is just slightly more than I got. Did you not fancy gambling a little more, especially considering you choose to wait till after BoE announcement.
Top tips = comfortable footwear, do not over plan / go with the flow, Wynn and Cosmo buffets, Earl Of Sandwiches.0 -
I'm doing the currency gamble at the moment. I still have quite a lot to change so any rise (and fall!) can make a big difference. Travel Premier has it at a hair's breadth under 1.32 at the moment. I'm torn as to whether I should go for it or hang on longer.
