We have a few days booked in LV in early November. We're not casino fans (hangs head in shame on here :o) but do want to have a go at blackjack and roulette (and obviously one go on bandit which will win the jackpot :D). What casino do people recommend to get the full experience?

Also does anyone have any experience of staying at the Trump?

Please note - first batch of many questions :rotfl:.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

That's an odd question re the best casino for a full experience.

The strip casinos are all huge, some may be abut more tired than others, some have smaller limits than others, one thing they have in common is they have thousands of slot machines, lots of table games including blackjack and roullette.

Prob best starting with the casino nearest where you are staying and if that is trump towers then maybe ti is your best bet.

I think some one who posts on here has stayed there but not many as it doesn't have a casino and is aimed more at timeshare ( I think)

bubble113 sounds like you had a great time. We are going for the 2nd time so still finding our way around

Could l please ask did you use the local bus to going to the shopping areas. I would like to go to Walmart this time and possibly Town Sq. Last time we only used the bus to go Downtown and back but this time we would like to go a little further. OH would like to go the the Street Rod museum.

Hi Kit, we've used the bus to get to Walmart on a couple of trips. You can catch one on the road between TI and the Fashion Show Mall that goes out to one store (you need to head away from Wynn towards the mountains) or from the road Tropicana and Hooters are on to a different store in the opposite direction. Sorry, don't know street names! Hope this is useful as a start

gallygirl-I hope you dont mind my 2 cents worth but IF you are not too experinced at the casino games, blackjack and roulette you mention, some of the uk online casinos offer *freeplay* which you can play and learn for free which may help you learn the games, so again some offer *freeplay* a good learning tool imo.**DONT sign up and give them any bank details**
Im sure some casinos offer lessons/help for people whom may be *newbies*(sorry i am assuming you are newish)

as photome has said above alot of the casinos have minimim/max bets so better to start off small !

and a bit of advice on the slots becareful what stake you bet! its so easy to hit any old button and bet say $10 a go instead of a buck ago so be careful

Not stayed at the trump but i had a little look in and around it and wasn't too inpressed, I dont think it had a casino as photome said.
    where are you staying?
Any more questions im sure most of us would be happy to help

Sorry can't help you about the Trump have never been near the place.
As for Roulette and Blackjack and Craps there are machine games you can have a go on if you find sitting at a table near other players intimidating.
I played roulette this way last week.

Can I just ask, is that the one with the poker hand at the very end, and had the chap with the very natty green suit on?
EDIT - reason I'm asking is 'cos I couldn't get the link you posted to work, was just getting an error (It's youtube playing up I think) anyway, I saw it a couple of days ago, was rather impressed, but a bit astounded that you spent all that, and didn't get a single bonus.
If so, well done. I like watching Diana's videos too, amongst others.
DH reckons it's a bit sad watching slot machine videos, but I always class it as essential research - i.e which ones eat your money up pretty quickly ;)

Generally speaking the more expensive the hotel the higher the minimum stakes on table games so it may be better to try them out just off Strip (Orleans usually has a good atmosphere at the tables and a free shuttle back to the Strip if you lose your cab fare ;) )

Most do daytime lessons in table games which might be useful too.
