Dontone......any joy yet??
Heyup Hovis.
Er....no. DH spoke to Expedia for 45mins last night, got all the way through, and then was told there was a 'technical hitch' Anyway, I've spoken to someone from there today, who told me that we'd be better off waiting until 75 hours before flying and do it on the online booking thingy. (apparently we are a bit too early to do it) Although I really don't want to wait till the last minute and would rather get it over with. It's just for the piece of mind.
The fella was nice enough, but I had to explain to him about 3 times that the TC website wasn't working properly, he then proceeded to talk me through it, which ok, he's trying to help, but it still felt like I was going round in circles.
Someone has kindly tried to talk me through it through PM, but I don't think I have all of the info that's suggested. I'll have to have a rummage through.
It just seems like something that should be so simple has been made so difficult. I just want it sorted.
Thanks for asking thoughBEST EVER WINS WON IN ORDER (so far) = Sony Camcorder, 32" lcd telly, micro ipod hifi, Ipod Nano, Playstation 3, Andrex Jackpup, Holiday to USA, nintendo wii, Liverpool vs Everton tickets, £250 Reward Your thirst, £500 Pepsi, p&o rotterdam trip, perfume hamper, Dr Who stamp set, steam cleaner.

could be useful for those who can easily get to Stockholm, Oslo or Copenhagen - which probably means from around London (maybe Manchester?)

I tried some dates in Feb and total was equivalent to £262 - that's without doing any translation to see if there's extras to pay for bags, meals etc.0 -
COSMO:
They like MGM hotels, ie: check in early no questions asked ?
Just got an email from them about my stay in June, gives the usual stuff about checkin from 3pm, or u can pay a fee to check in early......
Am guessing that can be overlooked when we roll up at 11:30am ?!
Hi Stuie
Just landed back todayand catching up on thread or just depressing myself more!
Checked out of MC around 10.30am and short taxi ride to Cosmo (not prepared to walk with cases!) fully expected to put cases with bell until room ready. Checked in and room was ready and no charge, this was on a comp room thanks to your info. I did pay $75 to upgrade from basic city to 1 bed fountain room but got that removed at checkout :T
Will hopefully do a TR/recap soon.0 -

Raymondo111 wrote: »So, as this will be our first trip to Vegas and as it's for my daughters 30th birthday just wondered what recommendations you experts can give us for Restaurants/Shows/things to do. We are staying at Signature MGM for 6 nights from 3rd September before flying to San Francisco for 3 nights staying at the Grand Hyatt Union Square.
For her birthday which is the 5th September we have booked the Grand Celebration Helicopter Tour which is a surprise, I have made a reservation at Joe's Seafood Restaurant which seems to get very good reviews although it's a bit expensive.
As it's Labour Day week-end we had to prebook to make sure we got her birthday sorted, now it's a question of getting the rest of the time sorted so we are open to suggestions.
Thanks.
Hi
We have just seen MJ ONE at Mandalay Bay and thought it was fantastic. I like MJ but do not consider myself a fan but absolutely loved the show.
Charlie Palmer steak house is near (Four Seasons) and they do a menu 'Cut of the Week' have a google, the menu changes weekly and includes bottomless wine pairing for $58pp which I think is good value. Our plan was to go after the show but the only thing I didn't want to see on the menu was lamb....yep it was lamb!
I do believe you have to ask for the 'cut of the week' menu as it's not on their regular one.0 -

You need only put in $1 to activate the freeplay.
Most of the slots will accept freeplay - the ones that don't will state that by the slot you put your card in.
You need a pin for your card.
If you don't have the actual MLife card yet go to the Mlife desk at any of their hotels with photo ID and they will issue you with one and help you set up the PIN.
Have a great time.
You can log into your Mlife account and look at tax stats - it will say how much you put in and got out.
I showed a profit this time!
I did MV freeplay at MC and needed enough money in to cover your bet. We were betting $2.64 per spin so needed $3 in to cover initial bet, then freeplay kicks in.0 -
I thought you need enough cash to cover one spin - at least that is how it used to be an we assume it still is, but maybe we just never checked again...and probably all our freeplay has been played at $1 or less anyway.
That was the case with us, enough cash to cover one spin. Didn't manage to turn freeplay into cash tho...:(0 -

If we were lucky enough to go for as long as you guys go for then i'm pretty sure our gambling budget would have to change.....I would be more than willing to make that swap!0 -
Cheers Bubble !
We will be hitting Cosmo around 12 ish, so fingers crossed, we just roll right in !
Plan is to upgrade to any room that has a Terrace.....
So keep your eyes peeled on Vegas news for:
