Free parking ends at MGM
http://vegastripping.com/news/blog/5827/mgm-paid-parking-the-rules-and-the-prices/
It's happening ......Hope their casinos are empty and people vote with their feet
We didn't have to pay when we stayed there but I won't be visiting there again if I have a car. Will probably go in on foot redeem whatever Myvegas comp I have and leave without spending another cent.0 -
At Mandalay bay today to redeem a buffet comp, we rode up the escalators to casino level and bang! All was in relative darkness. The had a power outage that lasted around 45 minutes. The casino was eerily quiet without all the slot machines clanging away.
My photos of the darkened casino are on Vegas bright if you want to see them. Can't figure out how to post them on here from my phone.0 -

We nearly always stay in Caesers propertys, I hope they dont follow suit although I guess they will if it works at MGM.
I also wonder how they will stop caesers garages from overflowing, maybe you will need a room key to park as per downtown0 -

I'm somewhat surprised at the prices, and the comment in the article that says that if you pay for valet, and it's full, then you'll have to pay again to self-park? What?Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

I noticed that. seems sharp practice to me, but I dont think the article is written by MGM so it may not be entirely accurate, probably is though
with resort fees and parking now about to add nearly $50 a day on to a stay it sucks,0 -

hi
It seems for people whomlike to drive and park in vegas(and drive around the vegas area) the free parking is a popular choice and rightly too!
Imo the only way the mgm properties will overturn this stupid idea is if like 95% of there parking customers dont use the parking!
I wonder what they will charge for next, a bathroom tax would be my bet!0 -
Hope its bloody right about the Mlife Pearl status getting free parking!!!!
We got a car for 2 weeks, and 11 days are in MGM hotels....0 -

Hi pebbles (and anyone else in Vegas right now). Small favour if you could please.......it involves visiting a casino or two, probably not a great hardship!!!
Could you have a look at a couple of sportsbooks for the prices of Clinton and Trump for next US president please? Also if you get a chance, could you find out what sort of bet size they would take without batting an eyelid.
