Actually I'll have work to do.....Not everyone uses the internet for leisure you know !!

For zoning out inflight I recommend Steve Allen's podcasts though.

Yes that is correct, silver member is 15 days i believe

Obviously if there are people in your party who arent flying members you can refer them for some extra miles when they join. If no one is signed up send me a pm and i will refer you

And if your ticket is UC or PE then you can get double miles and extra tier points by registering here for the Virgin promo.

Today's the day! 1335 from SFO to Vegas!!!!
So when we grab a cab at the airport we tell the driver NOT to take the tunnel, right? How much should a cab be, excluding tip, to the Venetian, roughly?

Without the tip about $25 according to the taxi fare finder.

Don't be aggressive about not taking the tunnel though, may even be better to ask to go via paradise rd

Having said that I think the tunnel may be paradise south whereas you want to go north

Ie be positive rather than negative,

No...north.

sorry i just confused you.

Its just I have read on some forums the drivers can get nasty if you just say No tunnel, as if you know better than them.

As you dont know where you are going it may be best to ask if they can avoid the tunnel please.

wish I hadnt started this

bear in mind its not the end of the world if they do use the tunnel and I15(it may be quicker) and would be about $40
