I have just had a chance to come on line. Busy at work, internet down so no chance to keep up. Cleaning lady back in after school holidays and house looking good. She has taken ironing away tonight too. I know not OS but working full-time and then doing family stuff I am quite happy to pay out while we can afford. They are so strapped for cash so I feel I am helping someone else.
Love and hugs to you all no matter what has happened today.

Very tired to-night for some reason, two hours in the garden, cooking dinner, hanging out washing seemed to be just too much for me to-day.
Night all, sleep well

Well what a day it's been!!!!!
Thanks to all those of you who sent a hug , a possitve message or a pm xxx
oooo got to tone this down a bit , too glarey!
That's better! Well guess what? DH has left his job!!!!!
As most of you know he is a self employed delivery driver. The company are absolute a**h**es and treat the workers appaulingly!
He has worked there for 6 years. Never had a day off sick , NEVER been late and only had 1 week off in the last 6 years!
Today his van broke down ( clutch ) and their attitude was ,
" tough , your round is your responsibility."
They expect him to hire a van for the week at god knows what cost and pay for the repair to his own van. He'll be working for nothing , in fact it will cost him hundreds to go to work. He's had no choice but to quit. Just can't affoard to carry on working for them.
Their response? As he did not give 1 months notice , they will with hold the wages he earnt last week. Thats £700. That's my mortgage payment on the 1 Sept. They are saying he renagued on his contract therefore they with hold his wages.
BRILLIANT So guess which fat little frog has hopped off her lillie pad and into the biscuit tin this evening!!!
Got to laugh or I might just tie a brick to my back legs and hop off the lilly pad for good ( joke , don't fret guys!!!!):rotfl:
Oh well , a piece of good news , had a lovely day with my friends from Manchester!!!!

Oh frogga, I'm so sorry! What pigs they are!! Are you sure they are right in what they're saying? Might be worthwhile contacting something like CAB or similar to check what your position is?
((((((hugs))))))) anyway, I don't know what else to say.
Take care,

FROGGA - I'm sure they can't just withhold his wages just like that. He's done the work and should be paid. If I was you, I'd phone the Citizen's Advice Board or the DSS office tomorrow and find out where he stands. I can understand why he quit - some employers don't appreciate when they have good reliable workers. Good luck - I hope you manage to sort something out.

Evening all and huge huge hugs to al those with worrying times ahead
Am all discombobulated at the mo - got back from Reading Festival late yesterday afternoon to find a tent up in the living room (yes honestly!), camping stuff everywhere, bbq coal trodden throughout the house and old bbq food all over the kitchen. Seems exoh and littlest dd had fun in my absence. big row and he stormed out with dd leaving me with the mess. I had a bath and fell asleep and then woke up at 8 to clear up but couldn't get motivated and was then off and on awake all night. i feel jet-lagged and have had to go to work today dreading the mess i was returning to. Anyway it's all pretty much under control now but am still fuming. He lent me £100 for the weekend and I was going to give it back yesterday but have put it towards a ticket for next year instead - ha!
Exoh and dd have gone to anfield to see the match - have just spoken to dd. she was struggling to stay awake after the first half so he bought her some coke and she is now buzzing - well at least she will be chatty enough to keep him compnay for the 180 miles drive back to his mum's.
Well my bed is calling me so have a good rest of the evneing everyone
stefI'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 20080 -
Hi all,
A very late one from me today. OH was admitted from the clinic back on to the cardiac ward as they are concerned about the fluid on his lungs. They are giving him frousemide iv at the minute to try and drain it off. The consultant is not too sure whether or not it is a viral infection or if he is in heart failure, bloods have been taken and an x-ray and they have said that if it is not an infection he will be referred on to the surgeon.
This means I am off work again with my 3 LO's. LOL this time they can take it as unpaid leave as it is hard going repaying back the last amount of time I owe them.
The house is gleaming as I have gone in to overdrive this evening (worry I suppose) the last load of washing should be ready in half an hour to be pegged out as the 4 of us will be off to the hosi in the morning.to all who need one.
