  • Good morning everyone,

heavenleigh what a nightmare bank holiday for you! I hope it turns out to be nothing serious for you. Good luck at the doc's.
frogga I'm very overweight so I know exactly how you feel. I convince myself to start losing weight, exercising more, etc but after a few days or a couple of weeks I lose the motivation. At the moment, I'm just trying to cut down on everything - except exercise. ;) Enjoy your time with your friends.
mrs mix good luck at the doc's.
pen-pen beautiful waistcoats - you are obviously one very talented lady. (insert green-eyed smiley here. :D )
((((hugs)))) to all who need/want one.

   MEN!!!!!   XDH had DS and DD all bank holiday weekend and dropped them off at 8.30 last night. As soon as I saw DS I asked "What's wrong with your face?" One side of his face is swollen and very tender. I asked what XDH had done about it. Nothing apparently - other than to tease him about it.  I know it's not caused by his braces as the current treatment has been going on for 8 weeks (he sees the orthodontist tomorrow) and the swelling only happened on Sunday morning. He says his ear isn't particularly sore so I'm not sure what it is. I have made an emergency appointment with the doc for 10.50 so don't have long to wait until I find out.

I have the podiatrist this afternoon and need to go to the supermarket too as I am back at w**k tomorrow and have nothing in for lunches. Will be a mini-shop though as I'm using up all my storecupboard and f/f reserves.

Hope everyone has a tremendous Tuesday. xx

    Morning all.

Feel like I've had a completely wasted weekend as I've been so tired with my M.E. Can feel my depression coming back which included slicing my arm up last night. So now I feel twice as crap for letting myself down. Think it's just going to be a day in bed today - everything else can wait.
  • bibbitybob ((((hugs)))) I'm sorry you feel as down as you do. Please take care of yourself and see someone before your depression becomes full-blown. Good morning everyone

FROGGA you see....you aren't on your own...im more than a little "well upholstered" myself;) (i need to shift about the same as you)... i have been "dieting" since 16 - only 20years  .... SW WW, slimfast, lipotrim, atkins..you name it and i have done it.. and every time i lose quite a lot and then shove it back on...with VAT :p ... im now in my 3rd week of sensible eating....and so far - so good:T , i have started thinking of how much money i would be eating too...and as a seasoned Old Styler....that may help you too;) ... if you ever want a chat, to swap recipes etc feel free to PM me...we all need as much encouragement and help as we can get.... im just about coming to grips with the fact that i used to be able to eat " a pea more than a pig":rotfl: and i still could if i let myself... We should start a club ...then i wouldnt be the only member of the "large marge fat farm":rotfl:

Well back to everything else...its a quiet day today...roast chicken dinner tonight.
Then i have a quandry.... hubby will be goin 10pin bowling tonight....and i can either:-
    1) go with him and watch

    2) go with him and go to the supermarket underneath..although i only "need" a bottle of milk and then i have enough food to last until monday...so i could get hubby to pick it up...:D
    3) go to bingo on camp with my neighbour...but it costs about 30 euro and even though i can afford it i hate spending at the moment:D ..now there are only about 18 people so the chances of wining something are good.. but still
4)or i could stay at home and x stitch, or chat on here:rotfl:

Im sure i will figure it out :p ...
Well i had better get off and get a cuppa...hope everyone has a good day

    Good morning everyone!

It's another beautiful sunny day in London, my word 4 in a row, whatever next:rotfl: Got a load of washing chugging away in the machine which will be dried outside, I've been to the gym, and a friend is visiting later, so I feel much better today :D

    Bibbitybob, (((((hugs))))) to you.

Got to get a wriggle on because I need to go and buy the veggies for tomorrow's lunchclub. The bank holiday is lovely, but I'll be constantly thinking it's the wrong day until at least Friday:o

SnowyOwl, hope you're OK, and if I may be permitted to nag, are we going to see a photo of your newest kitty soon?:D And is she still called Mitzy?;)

Hope all's well with you, heavenleigh and mrs mix, and that the Docs go OK. How is DD feeling now mrs mix?

PenPen, love the waistcoats, very professional:T

Well best be off, have good days,

    CMxx

Thanks annie. I have an appointment to see someone next month - I've been waiting since June  have started back on my AD's this morning after I took myself off them in July :o

Going to have a few more minutes MSE'ing in bed, then get up and put some washing on because it's a lovely day and they'll dry fast. Then I'm going to try and potter round the house before I go and see my friend and her new baby. I'm going with my Mum, who's promised me lunch so I might try and scam some banoffee pie out of it too :rotfl: I need to cover up my arm though...I don't want my Mum to see it, and typically it's not long sleeves weather!

Hi Y'all, I'm back inland after six wonderful weeks at the coast. Hugs to all who have missed me:kisses3: and Hi to all who don't have a clue who I am:wave:

Travelling back yesterday morning there was a nasty crash and road closure east side of Lincoln which required a sight seeing detour! I rang Mrs MATH and suggested this was a bad omen and maybe I should turn around and have another six weeks at the sea. I'm always saddened when well brought up ladies sully their mouths with foul language and threats of violence, arn't you?:rotfl:

Never mind, my nose may be back to the grind but I've "Soffits & Fascias R Us" arriving at 10am so it's still fun, fun, fun at chez MATH:rotfl:I hate plaggy soffits and barge boards but it was cheaper to have them all replaced than to hire scaffolding and get the outside painted, can ya believe that! So it's goodbye tastefull lilac and grey colourscheme and hello white plastic:eek: I'll be tacking one of those supersized butterflies or a giant wagon wheel on to the front of the house next and to heck with it.:rotfl:

Well I've got loads to do while the kidz are out bashing to local skatepark to splinters so catch y'all later.

    MATH x

    Bibbitybob - hugs to you

My first post for a couple of days, been very busy.
My Dad came out of hospital on Saturday and is doing quite well, he's having a walk in the garden at the moment - our garden is tiny so it won't do him too much good really!! We're off to the doctors shortly to have some of his stitches out. Its nice to have the company but I do feel for him, it also makes me thing about my up coming operation - not as bad as his I know!
Have cleaned kitchen and emptied and half filled dishwasher, need to hoover and mop floors, after the dr's maybe.
Lunch today - hm soup for dd and mackeral for dad and me
    Dinner - veggie chilli

DD and I have been out and about this morning already, been to register my Dad at the doctors, longest walk i've done for ages and I feel fine but was a bit hot and sweaty when we got to the top of the hill, not helped by having to push my large todder in her pram! I did feel what I thought could be a contraction, sure its just a braxton hicks though, i'm getting almost constant tightenings and the odd pain, perhaps Dad should start boiling the kettle!

    Have a good day all.

    Morning all

Bit of a stressful one for me today as Mum is in hospital for her op-I was going to walk into town, but what with all of the stress, my fatigue and IBS are really playing up today, so am staying in and will pop to the bank and PO tomorrow (OH says that our PO is on strike today anyway... I'm not sure about that!) before I go and tutor.

Got someone coming to look at DPups crate-he never ended up using it, so might as well sell it to someone! We saw him at the weekend and he slobbered all over OH-he doesn't do it to anyone else, so it reassured him that he hasn't forgotten him!

Was up at 5am this morning and had a bit of a nap after watching the same news over and over again, hopefully I'll manage a fair few things today, but am not going to push myself too far.

Have a good day everyone x
