    Afternoon all,
Haven’t managed to post yet. Went to the hospital this morning to see what they had to say about this sciatica. To be honest the consultant didn’t say much apart from I’m now being referred for an MRI scan, and that could take 2 weeks. God I hope they sort it out its driving me round the twist!

MEANMARIE~ I love the short and sweet posts to everyone, bet you call a spade a spade in “real life!”

MIOLIERE~ you will be fine flying. The flight will be over before you even begin to enjoy it!

ANNIEBOOKLOVER~ can’t believe the insensitive g** no wonder he’s XDH. Hope DS gets better soon.

FBTHREE~ hope your painting got done and dusted! Sending you a hug to cheer you up.

(HUGS) coming your way if needed.

BEST WISHES if you are celebrating.

Was a bit naughty last night and ordered myself a Panasonic bread maker. It cheered me up and I’ve not even got it yet. ;)
Will have to wait about a week or so till it arrives, ooh it will be like Xmas!:j
Right I’m off to lie down my backs killing me today.

    Toodle pip

    Hello! :hello:

Having a slow day again, woke up with morning sickness again! woo!

Just had an hour long phone call with Jobcentre to make a claim for Jobseekers Allowance seen as my temp contract ended. Been told ive got to claim that till im 29 weeks! Then i'll get "income support" cos i dont live with my partner! So I have £46.85 to live off a week - things are gonna be tight!!! UNLESS i can find a really understanding employer who will take on an already pregnant girl with a limited amount of qualifications and retail experiance only!

Anyway, i dont usually "fly lady" but found it really useful using the "monday madness" list yesterday. Felt really good to have a spik and span kitchen an dining area! Even sorted out my recycling which has needed doing for about 3 weeks!:o :D

OH came for tea last night and i made a huge what can only be called a "vat" of bolgonese last night, got 8 generous portions out of 500g mince after padding it with soya mince and veggies. Even used my homegrown courgettes! So feeling really pleased with myself, as now have 6 meals in the freezer for when im feeling lazy!! :D

Not much planned for today, general quick tidy and some adminny jobs to do, and STILL havent found my digital camera cable so thats my mission - again! Its in the house.... ... somewhere!!!

Tonights plans are lazing in front of the TV watching the Liverpool match! :footie:

    ((Hugs to everyone))

  • Afternoon everyone

Well I'm home from work, my one day in this week (what an inconvenience :rotfl: ). Everything's back to normal next week, workwise, DD goes back to school on Wednesday.

Can't decide what to have for dinner tonight, maybe chicken fajitas  Going to make some broccoli and apple soup in a mo for lunch (although DD won't eat it 'cos it's green  ).

Need to hang my washload on the line, and run the hoover round, then I might catch up with some knitting - I'm struggling with knit 1, purl 2 etc then knitting the next row, there seems to be loads more stitches than when I started  Anyway onwards and upwards
Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )
Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)

Awww DLB, bless DS3! I remember packing my bags so many times to run away, although the furthest my sister and I ever got was to the wooden wendy house in the garden or next door!

Johanne- We've got the match on tonight with HM Toad in the Hole for dinner-we're having a store cupboard challenge this week and OH was rather impressed at the amount of nice food I'm cooking with supposedly 'so little' food!

Oh, with being busy at the weekend I forgot to say that I'd won 2 competitions! One was theatre tickets, OH and I gave them to one of Dads colleagues who has been good with him about Mum etc. The other was a years supply of iced tea and a Qube fridge-so funny because my sis-in-sin won the same prize a couple of years ago! So I'll be having iced tea in my packed lunches for who knows how long, and they'll be taken on camps, pack holidays etc too.

Any other Guiders/Unit Helpers looking forward to the new Guiding term?

Im an (assistant) Scout leader and looking forward to going back... Missed "my kids" so much and looking forward to seeing them again and doing stuff with them albeit it with a more limited year planned than i would like!

I had planned all sorts of things to involve my kids with but since found out i was pregnant over the summer ive got to break the news to them that unfortunetly we WONT be going away as often this year as i planned as im the only scout leader with a nights away permit and baby is due slap bang around time we camp the most!!

And that i wont be abseiling or canoeing next month with them like id promised.. although they can still do the events themselves, i'll just have to watch from the sidelines! NEXT year however i'll be making sure we do loads to make up for it... :j
