Villa Valli sounds as though it's coming on just beautifully. If anyone complains about the standards of cleanliness here they are told where the cleaning gear is kept. It doesn't happen often any more.
I did that, when I was still married and the OH complained about the windows. I informed him that if it was bothering him he'd better clean the window - because it wasn't bothering me. For the record please note I am no longer married!

Well the plan to get lots done this morning went to pot; I was called to work *kerching* When the phone rang I was lying in bed, with a coffee, planning my day...breakfast was bread and butter eaten en route!

Since getting home I have eaten, emptied DW and tidied (a bit):rotfl:

Pigpen- you must have broken the back of it now. I'm going to do another load on Wednesday night. I hope to get most of it done! We will see!

    Left to do...

    Food list
    post Christmas cards
Dismantle unit downstairs and take upstairs.
Sort out unit and start to put toys away

Monday - a bit of everything!
Back to basics and shine your sink!
Clear your hallways and stairs - we don't want any accidents!
Dust and deweb all through downstairs
    Sweep or vac too
S&S the downstairs loo / cloak.

Tuesday - kitchen and dining room
Empty and clean the fridge out
    Wash a window
Wipe the tiles / splash back
Wipe switch plates and remove grubby finger marks
Spend 15min on a DR hotspot
    Extras
Spend some time with your diary
    Are all your cards posted?

    Elf list-

Tuesday-making a den, toasting marshmallows on a choc matchstick fire with red and orange paper flames
    Wednesday- toilet roll snowman
Thursday- wrap something up! We have done the remote, tv and doorway in previous years and the boys always remember this one so needs to be something equally crazy!
Friday- doing a Christmas disney puzzle (we bought in Disneyland last Christmas and never did it!)
Saturday- marshmallow snowmen (have bought all the ingrediants in to make these- hopefully the kids will enjoy making and eating them!
Sunday- North Pole breakfast/invite to see Santa (need to check I have everything in- bought a Christmas tree shaped brioche from aldi!)
    Monday- gingerbread house
Tuesday- thank you cards (I'm thinking thumbprints of some description- I like them to be made before Christmas so I don't have to worry about it afterwards!)
    Wednesday- make mince pies
    Thursday- Christmas Eve hamper

Hopefully that is a nice mix, with the things that need a bit more prep being doing on the days when I have more time!

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Photogenic I've been Money Tipped!
    Evening all

Mushy brain hasn't absorbed anything I've read since my last post so hugs, sticks, spoon, wishes & vibes to all. :o

I'm slowly working through my lists. Added on a few bits (in red) yet I'm still making progress for a change. I've not long put my phone on charge, so I'm going to find something to watch online and do some ironing, doubt I'll clear the pile but I'll try.

Errands tomorrow are probably going to be on foot. I need to go to the bank and pick up dog food from the chain store (we have enough for about another week at least, but I'd rather go now before we get too low) and I can hit a couple of shops while I'm up that way to possibly finish off the hampers for Christmas. I also need to pop to Mr A & Mr Al for veg to prep for Christmas dinner as I'm going to make it up and then freeze it so on the day I can chill lol

Taking a leaf out of piggers book and planning ahead:
Mon- Catch up with to do list, [STRIKE]B to BB[/STRIKE]
Tue - Order deadline, bank, pay bill,
Wed - errands in town (cards), Carol Concert
Thur - Wrap DDs gifts (could be done Saturday), last minute errands/me time, Reindeer parade??
Fri - DD breaks up at 12, Bath & me time in the am
Sat - DD out with ex, wrap DD's gifts, deep clean livingroom
    Sun - Decs up!
Mon - Delivery, "Argghhhh I forgot" errands
Tue - Nag DD over any homework that needs doing & wrap any remaining gifts
Wed- House clean top to bottom
    Thur - Get DD packed
    Fri - Celebrate
Sat - DD going away and relax :rotfl:

    To do:
Find [STRIKE]Christmas opening times for travel centre and [/STRIKE] when I can renew DD's bus pass (add to town errands if not online)
    Find[STRIKE] friends address [/STRIKE]& write/post their card
Finish the window - so close it's annoying, should be able to finish tomorrow hopefully.
    Ironing - about to start.
Check my reward level on SS (wait for emails to arrive)
    Place Ar order - Tuesday
[STRIKE] Update accounts (HB, Mr A, Bay)[/STRIKE]
Laundry - [STRIKE]cleaning cloths, dog stuff,[/STRIKE] dog stuff, (2nd load) dark, light,
    Shower (pm)
    Change my bed
Shopping lists for Mr A, Mr Al, and other shops (hide from DD!)
Print TV instruction book out (need to work out how to set things up on it properly) - Need to see if I can retune the DVD channel as its showing a double image atm
    [STRIKE]Fling old work books
    Fling empty box
Christmas savings pot, check & update
    Fold wash load
    Bring bins back round
    Trim dogs claws & groom
    [/STRIKE]
Pay credit card bills (post bank trip)

Monday - a bit of everything!
    Level 1

Back to basics and shine your sink!
    Level 2
Dust and deweb all through downstairs
    [STRIKE] Sweep or vac too[/STRIKE]
    Level 3
Wipe down your front door, inside and out.
    Extras
    • Dig out festive tableware / linen, if you use it - does it need a wash?
Tuesday - kitchen and dining room
    Level 1

    Clear & wipe your counters
Wipe down small appliances - any need descaling?
    Level 2
    Wash a window
Wipe the tiles / splash back
Wipe switch plates and remove grubby finger marks
    Extras
    • Check your naughty and nice lists ;) or any other lists << I have about a dozen lists! :rotfl::rotfl:
    • Are all your cards posted?
Right, on with the ironing!

    Rest of days' plan:
    - [STRIKE]go to PO and post last few cards[/STRIKE]
    - that should enable me to clear dining room table which is currently covered in card boxes, lists, empty books of stamps etc.Ah well, see later re. Xmas tree
    - [STRIKE]go into town for a few things when Mr N gets home[/STRIKE]A few? Started off looking at Xmas trees in 3 places. 3rd didn't have any but said Mr T had some cheap ones. Decided to do Mr T instead of Ald1. Liked one tree - they were half price - but the display one on a high box and decorated, was the only one left. Did shopping for us and charity boxes. Looked at tree again. I suggested to Mr N that he made one of the staff an offer and we'd take it as it was. So after a bit of negotiation, we now have a 6ft 'snow effect' tree covered in baubles and tinsel for £25. It was fun getting it into the car and even more fun getting it into the lounge which is now full of furniture. Room looks like a jumble sale.
-choose e-cards with Mr N and get those off Add to tomorrow's list
    - [STRIKE]move furniture out of conservatory when the floor people have confirmed if and when they are coming tomorrow.[/STRIKE]Good news is that they are coming; bad news is that they won't know what time till the morning, when they will ring up. So I don't know if I will have to miss zumba.

Actually I may not be too upset about zumba as I'm about to go to bed with a hot lemon, I think I've got the cold Mr N had at the weekend. Let's hope it is a short sharp one like his as I'm going out for a Xmas meal with friends tomorrow.

I did manage to finish a really difficult report and email it. 4 left to go, should be able to finish 2 tomorrow.

    Rampant Recycler Debt-free and Proud!
    Evening all :hello:

Mumto2 - sounds like you are doing soo well - stay strong :)

Sending more gws vibes for all the poorlies

I did some off the lists today but not finished yet as you can see. I also did a clear up of emails on the pc and some out-standing surveys. Did a money shuffle on the accounts and sorted out a couple of DDs. Made a note to pay car tax and contents insurance last week of the month.

Tomorrow I am having a cooking day - well that's the plan atm.
    • I have pack of chicken breasts to do, probably coq au vin
    • rest of 2 lamb joints to mince and prep for shepherd spy and moussaka bases and
    • some peppers and onions to chop and cook for a slow cooker of Bolognese - already cooked beef mince and it's in the freezer.
I also want to do an order for Mr T for Thurs to use a £9 off coupon and coupon for some GF and start order for 23d.

I have amalgamated all the hotspots into one and aim to sort that on Wednesday, file, shred and recycle as necessary. Then I can finish writing the rest of the cards and maybe have a walk to deliver some of them - depends on the weather :o

Thursday I have a dental appointment and so will also post the last cards whilst in the town. I will also have a check what else I need to get in town at the same time to save going next week.

Monday - a bit of everything!
    Sweep or vac too
Wipe down your front door, inside and out.

Tuesday - kitchen and dining room
Wipe down small appliances - any need descaling?
Empty and clean the fridge out
Spend 15min on a DR hotspot
    Extras

    Are all your cards posted?

(hugs), sticks and spoons for anyone needing some
Hope you all have a terrific Tuesday

Pigpen hope you get your side of the deal from skill swap person, some people just don't get being honest do they. GRRRR on your behalf.
    Glad the scarf is finished

I'm currently in bed cross stitching - and just remembered I also promised ds2 I'd knit him a phone cosy thankfully I have the colours of wool needed and it's only a small item so also doable.
Rang my Blackfriars flapjacks order through last night and can nip over to their factory after work to pick them up so that's another couple of presents sorted.
