If he doesn't need anything Kazwookie, give him an IOU for a nice day out or something. No point in spending money on stuff if you've already both got everything you need :)

Sounds horrible, LW but as piggers says it could be a while and you'll drive yourself nutty if you keep worrying about it xxx
*Groan* I know - and the thing is, I'm the sort of person who will worry about it non-stop til it's all done and dusted. And of course I now have two face-to-face interviews to cope with. And such is my fear of people that I'd gladly go deal with Pigpen's Mum's rats if it meant I didn't have to do these interviews.

Place is still a tip, and I'm still pretty much non-functional, but we do have some more software back onto the pc. That must be progress of a sort, yes?

I'll shut up about it now, I don't want to bore you all silly - but please don't fret if I don't feel able to post much for a while.

  • LW dont lose touch, even if its just a line so we know you are OK.

Plumber has been here all day. We have no working shower, bath or loo upstairs. Everything is covered in a fine film of dust. But you know what - I am so happy to see the back of that grotty old bathroom that I dont care!

DS has a really bad sore throat and this has been going on for about a week now. His glands are swollen but he doesnt feel particularly ill, just fed up that his throat is so sore. Must be something viral surely? He is on immuno-suppressants so infections are dangerous for him. Might pop into the pharmacy tomorrow and see what they say.

Right, off to help DH clear up the mess upstairs.
