Last day of term at the studio. Some lovely dances performed.

Niece and baby girl visited as DH hadn't met her yet and she is 1 in the new year. Ds2 was terrified but coped well enough to stay in the same room.

DH is ironing and I'm watching Strictly. Lazy moi?

Managed to watch the last dance from each person, amid MIL's caustic comments about the judges etc. . Blithering sofa is covered in glitter and the wrapping was done on the other side of the room.

But the gingerbread men (circles actually as gf flour doesn't roll out very easily) were yummy. Hope I don't eat them all a) before they have icing or more importantly b) before the main recipients i.e. my brother and sil arrive tomorrow.

Shopping done, new socket fitted, walked into next town managed to find a first chrismbo pressie from mil for DGS, visited Costa for a hot chocolate, the pub with Dh, swapped presents with friend, missed sister who did a card run while we were out, ds2 sleeping at friends, me Dh and ds1 fed, 21st birthday plans for ds1 discussed for Monday, he want steak and chips for tea and a game of pool with Dh at the local pub. so we can do that. I might even mKe a cake while he's at work.
He's gone up to practice for tomorrow's open mic so we a watching holiday inn.

Evening all.

Hardly any of my precision planned list was done.
Forgot I was meant to be visiting parents tonight and tomorrow, so I am now in deepest Lancashire with my feet up, rather than at home finishing the wrapping.
House just as much of a tip as it was this morning, just slightly rearranged, but I'm not there so it doesnt matter!

Enormous TV now dominates living room. The picture is amazing but I'm not letting on to OH. He keeps trying to get me to admit it is great but I am not going to. Will be watching giant dishy actors when he isn't in though x

My crazy neighbours have hung fairy lights on the back fence.. I'm baffled..

car insurance sorted.. starts tomorrow.

OH coughing up his dinner.. well now he knows how I felt for 2 weeks and got zero sympathy.. there's really no need to be quite so blooming noisy though I'm sure!

Listed some of my previously unlisted dyed yarns on my etsy..

Pixie not in bed again and snoring on the sofa.. I think she may need to go in a bed asap because she hasn't been in the cot for a week now.. I'm not impressed!

Not got very far today but bathroom is clean, plant is in new pot, fence has been dismantled and door decorations made and put up.

Been to friends for drinks party (DH decided not to come, didn't fancy it, so antisocial).

Must get down to meal planning tommorrow now I know who is coming when, Sunday will be my biggest problem with 16 but hey I do cricket teas for 26 so 10 less than that!

DS2 due back tonight, DH has driven into London to get him. My plan was for him to get a train and I'd drive to one of the local stations but he wanted to do it this way.

See you all tomorrow oh and Bossy bung those cards in the bin, they can't be recyled with all that glitter on.

I have upset the youths.. they have been told that they are to be given 3 or 4 rooms to clean and tidy as part of the Christmas preparation because I cannot do it myself.. they can do it together or separately I don't care but I want them all involved and doing something because I simply do not have the time or the patience or the energy.. and as they are 'adults' (15-19) they can chip in.. and if they want they can reel the smalls in to help!

I am NOT their favourite person!! haha

Morning flyladies. Coping vibes where needed. I'm just compiling that odds and sods shopping list for DH!

I've come on MSE to get inspiration for quick dinners this week.

No dog walking again today. LittleyDog still not really up to it. But I need to hoover/sweep/mop through properly and probably do a few things from the list.

Going to have breakfast soon, get in the gym for a while and have a bath.

Dry and silly mild here still.

First job is to get some laundry one and then check out my present list. Hoping to get a little time in the garden but must not prioritize this!

Also must get the food lists done today.
