  • Pigpen coping vibes heading your way. And yeah my boy is 15 two weeks today, scary. I say to people that mine are 17 and nearly 15 and it doesnt sound right. Happy birthday Meems!

And Nicki I can sympathise. I guess she is a teenager too and they seem to be unable to think of anyone except themselves! We have been having a few issues with DS2 sneaking his phone into bed with him then looking very bleary eyed when he wakes up.

I woke up at 5.45am with lists going around inside my head so eventually got up. Lots of little things to do today. I am out tonight but not sure if I am keen or not. Some friends are going to the local pubs for a girly night out and I guess it will be absolutely heaving.

Right, need to get these lists onto paper!

    Morning All

Well I'm off work for 2 weeks now and I need to get the house in some semblance of order before Christmas eve when everyone comes over so I'd better join in with you this coming week.

So far I've cleared the draining board, washed more dishes, W& TD x 1. I'm going to go through the pile of clothes that are on top of the dryer next to see what can just be put away and what needs ironing then I'll think about making a start on the LR!

Hugs for DS piggers and for you - just because I can!

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

  • Good Morning ladies,

I have been away in the big smoke for a few days - always nice to visit but even nicer to come home! So I am way way behind, not much was done in my absence, surprise surprise!

WM is doing its third load, TD is whirring round and I have just fed the littlies. It feels like it should be lunchtime - been up since 5.30 with DS. Today's plan involves bottoming the spare room, washing the bedding and wrapping the last few presents. Then out tonight for a meal which will be lovely.

I have read the Fred but nothing much is sticking, so I will send hugs and peaceful vibes to all in need. Have lovely days all xx :) ATB :) xx

  • Morning all,

Out with work last night, drove so no drink but still not happy to be woken up by children at 5.30 Grrrrrrr.

Right, the house is a complete tip. I really can't believe how bad it is. So, in order to make today work, I need a list with times and everything.

9 am daily stuff and as much flying as poss
    10 am HHI
10.30 have brew and make sure children dressed.
11 am to shops to get last couple of pressies and small food shop
    Lunch
    1pm drop dd2 at party
    Walk dog
    3.00pm pick up Dd2
    3.30 pm decorating hall
    5.30 cook tea
Have a bit of time with DDs
Present wrapping after DDs in bed.

Hm. Let's see how much I stick to this.

OH has gone out this morning to buy the new TV that we don't need. He says it's his birthday (on Tuesday) and Christmas present for the next four years. Oh dear.

Have a good one everyone xx

    Morning,

It's officially christmas here, lol. DD has got the pound shop Santa hats out - we got lots of different ones instead of paper hats for our guests. We have flashing ones, sequin ones, leopard trim ones, antler ones, xmas tree ones, lol. She's even got a Frozen one. And has had us trying on several this morning...

The elves have been at the crackers haha so we might need another box, but there is a B&M near the railway so we'll pop in and get some bread too.

Flying today will be limited, going to focus on the kiddies as they are tired and both a bit emotional, so lots of calming soothing stuff today. But hopefully I can S&S the sinks and toilets at some point.

Wishing you all a peaceful weekend!

    Happy Birthday Mimi

Up at 5:00 this morning. Now sitting on a train to Brum. Everything looks very grey and wet. Interesting arrangement of 2x 5-coach sets, with no access between them except at stations. Apart from the driver, there are only 2 members of staff on the train. The train manager (ticket collector) is in the back set with all the reserved seat passengers, whilst we are in the front set with no one to check our tickets, but we have the catering facilities all to ourselves :rotfl:

Well all the clothes are now sorted but I have 2 baskets of ironing to do - not sure whether they'll get done before Christmas, see how it goes. The WM is on its second wash and I have 2 more loads to do. Now I need to make a start in the LR.
