I wrote a post at the equivalent of 4:00 am but it appears to have got lost enjoy route to Flylady Land. We have flown for 7 hours today - we are now enjoying Christmas lights in Scotland, and will be getting the earliest possible train home tomorrow. Cue another 4:00 alarm. My children and our grandchildren are all coming to lunch with us on Monday so I shall have flying of a different sort to do as soon as we get home, not to mention present wrapping!
Pigpen, that is almost beyond belief. I hope you get more than an apology from the school.
Natty, I hope you have taken everyone's advice and put yourself to bed xx0 -
Hello Flyladies
Thank you for the "stay well" vibes; I'm being a good boy, and enjoying a nice relaxing holiday with Auntie Wolfy.
I have to take three types of medication, which I have with my meals, one lot for my joints because I'm an elderly chap, and the other two because I have this thing where my adrenal glands don't work right, but at this time, I'm doing well. Thanks again; Auntie Wolfy's told me about the Power of the Flyladies.
Love from

Aww, have fun little pooch!
Well, kiddies are in bed although protesting, but not noisilyso I'm ignoring them. Downstairs is all nice and tidy, I've even cleared the kitchen after dinner!
I still need to sort the packing but we have a few days and I have two grannies who I'm sure will help.
So this weekend we have a little trip on the Santa train tomorrow, and two parties on Sunday. DD will need to tidy her room - we need to fit an extra bed in there next week which won't happen in its current state! Will also make more space in garage for coats and guests bags. Sleeping arrangements are sorted (except the extra bed) but seating in LR needs boosting with a chair or two from the conservatory... But not till Thursday afternoon.
I have a couple of birthday gifts to wrap and cards to write, and I need to wrap the kids presents from my brother (don't ask!) and the little gifts for grandparents. Kiddies can help with this.
Also need to finish my online grocery shop - the slot is booked I just need to check my list (twice :rotfl:) and get the last bits on there.
I bought 2 packs of piggies in blankets at Aldi so they are now in the freezer.
Actually it's all gone quiet upstairs...phew. Think I'll be having an early night too...Bossymoo

Phew, finished 3 wreaths and cleared up kitchen. Have one more dec to make in the morning which I saw in a magazine and liked the look of; it is a flower arrangement set in a Christmas Cracker - I thought it might look good on one of the church windowsills. If it goes well I'll do one for the house.
No late night for me; am ignoring the fact that I have done no report writing...............Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Evening all.
Minor Rant, feel free to skip! DD has had her phone confiscated for the weekend (Except overnight when she uses it as an alarm clock, and when she's out with her dad tomorrow). She's driving me mad saying she's going the toilet then disappears as she's reading stories online, not to mention the fact that she strolled in here at nearly 3pm having not called at Mr A  She broke up at 12, I text her at 12.50 asking where she was as I assumed she'd waited with her friend for the bus and just forgot to text. She replied she was having lunch with 2 friends! Bare in mind I was busy by this point trying to juggle bookcases and paperwork so it was all away so I didn't realise the time. I finally get a text at 2.25 saying she's on the bus! She walked in, dumped her stuff then disappeared upstairs "to go the toilet and get changed to go to Mr A" then didn't reappear until gone 5pm (I was still sorting stuff out and putting it away but I was now working on my desk, so still not noticing the time). I said she wasn't going at 5pm on her own and that was the whole point of her going straight after school as she was supposed to be in by 1pm as she told me when she left this morning she didn't have any plans. She then "went the toilet" and disappeared again for another 30 minutes, came back down, sat and watched the end of a film I was watching while I worked and while we ate tea, then at 8.30 she "went the toilet" and reappeared at 9.15 wanting to watch TV! She complained she was tired, so I packed her straight back off upstairs minus her phone. I've just gone on it to switch the school time alarms off to find she's got one set at 5.45am! No wonder she's tired as she's been awake until 10-11pm :mad:
Any ways, I'm not even going to bother reposting my list. Lets just say this weekend will be spent cleaning and trying to clear my list. Going to print the main one out now, and put it up on the wall so DD can help and I have a handwritten one of things I keep remembering that need doing. Its going to be a busy weekend here and I can't go to bed until the TD has finished with the wash load I did this morning and forgot to switch out.
