mumof2 - great to hear you still feeling strong

dizzy - Gosh - sounds a bit of a 'mare for you atm. Sending keep going vibes for you and try to get a bit of a break when you can.

CY - great to hear your first day back went well and you enjoyed it. Take care not to do too much too soon

Dentist today went okay - no treatment for now and back in six months. I was talking to her about my irrational fears of the dentist and she's given me the number for a hypnotist - might give her a ring in the new year :o

Waiting for Mr T delivery so can't really get on with much atm. Want to finish clearing the kitchen but he's bound to arrive in the middle of it. I think I'll do a bit more of the paperwork heap now.

  • Just checking in quickly, laptop is going to die. I have had that feeling that I am getting a cold for about 3 days. If I am going to get one I would rather get it now not next week! Going to get an early night I think.

    Will catch up properly tomorrow.

cf needs to be dead.. He took vile vile letters into school which a b!tch of a teacher gave them to my incredibly sensitive and vulnerable DS3.. I have spent the day on the phone to the SS, school, police, safeguarding education officer, my solicitor and ofsted... the damage that piece of filth is causing to my boys is unreal and no one gives a flying frog... I swear heads are going to roll over this one!! I've got my mama bear head on.. I am gunning for blood.

Us too! Well, I'm done but DD cried about going to school. She cried after school and she cried tonight at the beavers party. She is just beyond tired :o they can just about cope with one more day...

    Good to "see" you LW
Piggers once again, there are no words

Aww, beavers party was nice. Had a visit from the man in red, and my departure was announced, and DS's of course. One of my beavers had a few tears - he's a little pet of mine although he's never actually been in my group, except on camp. At the end of the night he came over with a sad face and a quivering lip and we had a cuddle. Bless him. I see him at school most days too - although he's in the year above DS. Another boy hugged DS so tight, he almost fell over! Have arranged with his mum we'll meet up for coffee / play etc. aww. Fuzzy feelings :)

I tell you what, when we get home tomorrow night, I'm locking that door and shutting out the world. As DS says, "too much exciting!"

Quick check in. I've updated all my personal accounts, tomorrow I'll pay the credit card bills, I've managed to wrap about 90% of DD's pressies so will have to finish them tomorrow while she's at school. When she got in I took her for her pjs & she bought some Christmas socks, then I set up the new fr33view box. Now I'm just going to sit and enjoy watching a film on a big TV (new to us from relatives) through our new box :D I'll think about Christmas, cleaning and everything else tomorrow :p

My tree is up. I need to buy another extension cable so I can switched the lights on and it needs tweaking as it looks like the baubles have been thrown at it.

I have contacted a good friend to arrange her popping in on CE for a pit stop on her way up the country.

Ds2 has opened the 2 presents bought for him by his bus escorts even though I told him not to.

Hope problem was sorted Piggers x (I have read your later post now. Unbelievable. Hugs to you and your boys)

I know how you feel about the glitter Bossy x

    Ds1's bed changed and laundered

    Parents visited

    Ds2 bathed

My secret Santa parcel arrived with the dawn this morning :D

Ds1 has found a flat to live in with friends for his 2nd year of uni. He rang to request a deposit/ guarantor. Hope the area is ok. I may need to check with one of you lovely flyladies. X

Quick check here too. Lots of you need hugs, and Natty you definitely need bed and tlc not hassle.

Last day's work at uni today, yes I've got 6 assessments to write up but it's nice to have a bit of breathing space.
Just delivered the charity food boxes to the river chaplain friend, and ended up having drinks with her & husband for an hour - very pleasant unexpected Christmassy evening. She also gave me 2 branches from where she'd trimmed her Xmas tree, as I have 3 wreaths to make tomorrow - one for our front door, one for a friend and one to go on the font at church. Plan for next few days:
    Fri
    - make 3 wreaths and whatever other flower decorations I have time for
    - go to gym class
    - plant tulip bulbs for SIL I'm not seeing till 1st week in Jan
    - deliver as many local cards as I can
    - clear some of the debris on the dining room table; that includes going through magazines for Christmas food recipes and identifying anything I fancy for this year
-make some progress on at least 1 report
    - possibly go to carol service by the river organised by friend river chaplain

    Sat
    - decorate church
    - plan food for Sun (brother and wife for coffee and cake am; friends to dinner after evening carol service - will probably be a chilli)
    - take stock of what else needs doing more urgently than anything else!
    - house really needs a blitz
    Sun
    - carol service at 11am probably
    - Brother and SIL coffee and cake
    - get dining room ready for eve
    - carol service 6.30 with friends and possibly MIL and her friend, followed by dinner

Well that's a rough guide, scatter in as much flying as I can do; replacing 'stuff' in conservatory now new floor is down but don't clutter it up!! And keep up with paperwork.

Doubtless I'll catch you all tomorrow.
    CY glad work went well
Pigpen we won't tell anyone where you bury his body
Mumof2 great that you are looking and feeling strong
