Dusty re bathbombs, they are all lovely, havent bought any new ones for a while so not sure of the latest faves, I find the ones with dried petals on mean you need to clear the plug hole out after as it clogs with petals and the glitter gets everywhere meaning you need to clean/wipe bath out straight away after use. My girls current love is snowfairy which is used as bubble bath as well as shower gel. I think they do some bombs in that fragrance.
I'm sure pigpen will have more suitable advice as hers are probs nearer to age you're buying for. Just thought I'd add my two penny worth incase you needed it before shopping today.SPC~12 ot 124

Natty no way should you be doing Christmas lunch - they should be looking after you! Pneumonia is not something to be taken lightly, you need to just rest and let DH pull his weight.
Just dropped Z off at school but had to leave before the coach as needed to get S home and ready for school. She was nervous on the way there in our car but fine once with her friends. The house already seems quiet without her! Going to drag S into the shower before he gets dressed much to his disgust.
Will do Bossy's list and then got the following to do:
Finalise shopping order by 5.10 tonight
Wrap presents
Ironing
Whiz Agility
S to school disco
Pub with friend!
Catch you later, have a good day all xFlymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
Morning all.
Natty - just what the others have said.
Well Littleydog had an accident overnight and piddled all over a present that DD was keeping here for her boyfriend. Cue cleaning, unwrapping and one massive box now drying out in front of the radiator. I hope it doesn't smell too much! And DD will have to be told as I'll need to rewrap it in different paper when it dries out. Goods inside are ok thank goodness.
Just wasting time on here before starting the day properly. Going out with DH today.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Morning. No flying at yorkie towers today, as I am at DD2's awaiting a cooker delivery.
I did feel tired after work yesterday, especially after walking down to the chemists. But I had a really rubbish nights sleep, so quite glad I am under no pressure to do anything.
Natty - that is unbelievable - get yourself to bed and let the world sort itself out. As a previous poster said - pneumonia is nasty and not to be trifled with.
Glad to hear the assembly went well Valli.
Catch up with you all later.:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
Morning all
:D
CY - Hope you had a good day in work and aren't too tired.
Pigpen - You're not aggressive, you're direct!
Valli - :T:T Love the assembly idea!
Bossy - Shame about the course. Hope the other college is doing it!
Natty - massive hugs and truck loads of getting well soon vibes heading to you! I agree with the others, GET TO BED AND STAY THERE!
Hugs, sticks, spoons, and vibes to all!
Yesterday I managed to leave the house at 9.35 which is good for me, normally it would have been 11am :rotfl: I managed to finish all the shopping by 3pm again, except pjs (DD is a 14-16, Mr A's sizes go 12-14 then 16-18!) and a top for the actual day. I have a feeling that she'll be way too hot in a jumper! I still need to buy marzipan, icing and a vinetta for pudding but there wasn't any in the shops and my freezer is too full for the latterWent to DD's carol service. It was warmer than usual, and the performances were good (winter wonderland on a ukulele was not expected!) but I couldn't see a thing as someone tall sat in front of me and the church was full so I couldn't move over like I normally would
So far today house tidied right through again after the usual morning trail of destruction, 2 wash loads on, recycling out, the last card that needed posting is posted (thanks to DD on her way to school as the collections are 9am!) and I did about 90% of DD's morning routine that wasn't getting dressed or eating her breakfast as she was running late after oversleeping and then deciding to wash her hair.
Thur - Wrap DDs gifts, WINDOW, last minute errands/me time,
Fri - DD breaks up at 12, Bath & me time in the am
Sat - DD out with ex, deep clean livingroom
Sun - Decs up!
Mon - Delivery, "Argghhhh I forgot" errands
Tue - Nag DD over any homework that needs doing & wrap any remaining gifts
Wed- House clean top to bottom
Thur - Get DD packed
Fri - Celebrate
Sat - DD going away and relax :rotfl:
To do:
Finish the window
Laundry - [STRIKE]light,[/STRIKE] white, bedding, dark, towels - whites in now, lights in TD. How on earth have I ended up with so much washing?!?!?
Fling old work books
Pay credit card bills
Set up fr33view box

Take DD clothes shopping *wail* at least I have a voucher for money off at that particular shop

Natty.. I think the verdict is unanimous... you are on sick leave too!!!
CY.. So pleased you day at work went well..I bet its lovely having some normality back.
Dusty.. nothing with bits to clog the pipes or dark coloured to stain the bath!! Snow fairy is the very popular Christmas smell, it is sweet and sugary but is nice. There are a lot of fruity ones which are nice, butterball one are less sickly that's my sisters favourite. Honey I washed the kids is a subtle smell for older nieces or ones who don't like sweet smells. They bath gellies are fun too.. and the shower gels last ages! Just avoid bits or the parents will not thank you!!!
Plenty of stuff to do today but again no motivation or energy to do it.. Pixie slept in her own bed last night for the first time this week..Calpol seems to fill her with busies so she is being fed that all day to deal with the temp and hopefully that will stop her sleeping during the day so we can do bedtime!
1 more day of school!! Nursery assembly today and party tomorrow.. I need to scribble on Dots cards today.. and Squeaks this evening. Council Tax letter to send back and I have a meeting at school at some point re DS3LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Then I need to go into school as Governor for an hour followed by a haircut then bathroom cleaning. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Pixie is again crashed on the sofa... I'm starting to miss my naughty Pixie!!
