Passenger Whiplash Claim Advice

I am simply stating facts and have no world view on this issue.
You are the one voicing personal opinions as "fact", and seemingly enjoying playing "detective" with your suspicions.
How do you see expressing your world view on compensation has any relevance to the OP?
No. We are both stating opinions, although it is clear that you consider your opinions to be facts.Any pain/suffering caused by a negligent third party merits compensation!"When the people fear the government there is tyranny, when the government fears the people there is liberty." - Thomas Jefferson0 -

is a fairly controversial opinion, and one with which I completely disagree.
No, that's a fact.
Whether the claim or not is another matter and its ones opinion whether they should.0 -

Oh dear! I suppose that in Byker compo is the main source of income, so I'll bow out of this thread as I'm unable to argue with your evident expertise."When the people fear the government there is tyranny, when the government fears the people there is liberty." - Thomas Jefferson0 -

You're a funny guy. Not.
Show us some legislation to the contrary if you think it's untrue.
But then we'll take your insults to mean you've finally backed yourself into a corner and lost this arguement.0 -

.
You asked what "merits entitlement to compensation"
I gave you a factual answer.
All along it is you that have tried to disguise your opinions as fact - only admitted by you when your incorrect "advice" was revealed to actually be just your opinion!0 -
I suspect the OP is using the term "whiplash" in much the same way as all vacuum cleaners are called "hoovers" unless they also shampoo carpets - in which case the are all called vaxes (so you have hoovers made by Vax and vaxes made by Hoover).
They say they have pain in their back and shoulder but my understanding is that true whiplash is more likely to cause them to experience suffering from a pain the neck.
On the other hand, reading some of the comments on this thread, maybe they ARE suffering from a pain in the neck!0 -

Why are you so aggressive with everyone?0 -
Rest assured the OP will get his payout. Insurers won't challenge in what sounds like a clear cut case like this. Fill yer boots.
30mph - was the other car stationary? That's a pretty hefty impact, airbags deployed, big damage to the cars and a sympathetic medic (paid by your solicitor) to back up your claim.Mr Straw described whiplash as "not so much an injury, more a profitable invention of the human imagination—undiagnosable except by third-rate doctors in the pay of the claims management companies or personal injury lawyers"0 -
Have you even been to A&E / your GP? or was the first thought £££?0
