I'm afraid I doubt that your extension will ever be built if you continue with this chap. I absolutely agree with what Doozergirl is telling you - the small claims court is your best course of action. You can of course issue him with an ultimatum before proceeding, but my feeling is that it will be futile.

Indeed, we did have this problem, so had very little alternative option but to stick it out. However, your most recent advice has been equally invaluable and I'm currently putting together a letter explaining how we want a refund for all the work not carried out.. And the crap service lol thank you x

Did you ever get anywhere with getting decent plans drawn up and submitted Lucylou?
I hope you are enjoying your new baby and not too stressed even though you don't have the space you wanted.
