I found £100 last Xmas and handed it to police station. No-one claimed it though.

Why on earth would the CO-OP offer a gesture of goodwill? She failed to secure the purse and says she lost it between the shop and home, it's nothing to do with them.
I said "I doubt they would" but they may check CCTV to see it wasn't stolen by a pickpocket.Please be polite to OPs and remember this is a site for Claimants and Appellants to seek redress against their bank, ex-boss or retailer. If they wanted morality or the view of the IoD or Bank they'd ask them.0 -

Hi, Insurance helped me before with cash being stolen but not lost, had police crime number and proof i had drawn the cash out.
Took about 4 weeks to sort out.0 -

You had two lots of money - DLA money and 'your' money. So while you are apparently £150 down you should still have 'your money'.
