Much as I like Hugh Grant, I've just done the same sort of thing - I just watched The Bishop's Wife, starring Cary Grant, Loretta Young and David Niven, made in 1947 :j:j:j

The sales were non existent, who are these stores think they are fooling with the ads

I got some curtains poles with mum and dads christmas money, really nice ones that will look fabulous with my new tartan curtains, I still need paint and a new fireplace for this room but that will have to wait a couple of months :T

    Day 20
Well we have an invalid in residence poor OH got up for work this am and at 5 was sick. Like a trooper off he trotted but was sick on way when he got there and on way home bless him. Not sure where he got it from.

Had a lovely trip to DD's yesterday, it was odd to see her I miss her load but not sure it has hit me yet. Think it's because I am still so busy

Today I am finishing an order for a collector and tomorrow I will be office bound as I have 2 sets of accounts to finish for end of month

I still have to work on my list to "achieve" for 2016 yet lol

Ah thanks I don't feel awesome I actually feel like a failure xx

Not a failure, that's just in the DNA of us Mums.

As for your DD, could you not tell her to man up a bit in the office. As far as I read it, you've paid her postgrad course, well done you.

Now she's acting like a spoilt brat and doesn't get real world working, and she's ranting at you and stropping she's 24:eek:

Seriously well done, I think you will smash it :)

I felt like it sarahevie. I actually felt like screaming at her because I was in a similar situation for 10 years.

I didn't because she would have "lost the plot" and it would have just meant her being worse, a bigger tantrum to sort. What I did do was give her a lesson in office politics lolol it helped as she found the following days.

Both OH and DD are very similar flash of temper types whilst I could run United Nations. My fellow work colleagues say it all my fault I have allowed them to be like this and when you shoulder all the blame its hurtful to be blamed for that too

Am feeling a tad in awe of this board at the mo, lots of peeps with massive OPs in such a sort time, thanks for the encouragement
