NSD today
Only £50 left between now and end of month so will have to be careful - trying a new tactic to me - writing down only what I need for the shopping list, rather than the 'regular' buys i.e crisps, biscuits, cheese etc I now buy 12 bags of crisps a week for DH and DS,s lunches - and if they use them up before the end of the week - tough! As normally I would buy a 24 multipack and end up throwing out the flavours they don,t like:oNote to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

I should easily be able to do it, but we'll see. As I've got into a new training regime I seem to be eating constantly, and high protein meals seem to come in more expensive. Oh well, I feel better on it, and I'm saving on chocolate:rotfl:
Famous last words! £209.02 so far. £30 of this on dog food and £33 on drinks, and I need to do another big Mr T before the end of the month (dog food offer), and a H&B order.
Still have a full freezer, but have been buying lots of YS extras, and some big cooking items.
Oh well. It was a shot in the dark as the last time I tried this I don't think we even had a dog, and I definitely wasn't eating as much. I'm using MyFitnessPal after using Woman and Home Diet to track my food for years. Scary. W&H tracks calories only. With MFP it gets broken down, and we were having FAR TOO MUCH sugar, and not enough protein. It has really made me think about what we eat.
Will keep track for the rest of the month and continue meal planning. It really helps - I could have spent a whole lot more!:eek:Goals - Weight loss 6/26lb at 22nd Jan 18Mmmm. 26lb at 1/7/18. Oops:o0 -
I've just added a £1 spend. We won't have enough milk to last until my shopping day. I'm really pleased with the way it is going.

Just given DD a shopping list. 2 loaves, 750 beef mince, 5 milk, 4 butter salted, carrots, hope to come in around £15. She will call in to A**i after her exam tomorrow morning. I am just hoping she does well or either we get nothing or random stuff!
She is much better at sticking to the list than me. Shames me infact!
Hoping to stay under budget for the month, but it is so difficult if I see a grocery store, things leap into my trolley. I am a grocery addict and there is no counselling available.Am trying to go a s nearly cold turkey as possible.
So far so good.
