Another NSD for me. 10th one this month, which I'm very happy with.[FONT="][FONT="] Fighting the biggest battle of my life.

We had jacket spuds tonight with leftover cheese and beans with side salad. Simple but it went down well and two bits of cheese used up.
So far this: I've been to Lidl for fruit and veg, Farmfoods for toilet rolls and frozen onions and then to butchers for mincemeat for freezer. So far so good but I am sure I can do better.Books - the original virtual reality.

Another NSD yesterday, so up to 6 this month so far. Today is my main shop and it's going to be a bit more than the last couple as I need washing up liquid, cereal etc as well as the usual weekly stuff. Have already written my list based on my meal plan, just need to add the weekly essentials, milk, bread, crumpets etc. Hoping to spend around £50. will update laterGrocery Challenge 2024

Morning all. Have worked through finances this morning and need to do as small a shop as possible next week as that is when the DDs all come flooding out. Hopefully it will be possible as there are loads of things in the cupboards and freezer so will just need salad, fruit and dairy.2016 Grocery Challenge January: £296.20/£300 February: £262.05/£3000

Well my plan didn't work, went past poundland and decided to nip in, ended up spending £7, got 4 tins of Heinz beans for £1, 3 large storage tubs for picnics for £2, sweets for the kids and 2 bottles of shampoo.
Also went into Lidl as we don't have one near us and got 42 packs of tissues for£2.99 and a punnet of pears 59p! Staying away from the shops now!Grocery Challenge 2024
