    Hi all :)

Another NSD today, too busy to leave the house... work is pretty hectic at the moment :D so the NSD's for 2016 just hit double figures here! :)

For lunch I just had a Quorn ham salad bap, with the leftover smoked Quorn ham that DS2 had left from his packed lunch, some salad that I got for 33p at the weekend (put it in an airtight tub with a sheet of kitchen roll to stop it going soggy) and a huge wholemeal bun from my freezer stock... it was blooming lovely and very filling :)

Tonight I am making a veggie lasagne... using 2x 50p tins of ratatouille (figured I wouldn't be able to buy all the veg for less than this, plus convenient!!!) and some value pasta sheets... made my own cheese sauce and decided last minute to blitz in some cauliflower that has been in my fridge for a while and needed using... just waiting for it to cook now, smells lovely :)

That a super helpful recipe FoxFace thank you, I've never thought about using tinned ratty! And you could pad it out with lots of things from the fridge botty :D

I've spend £38.87 since I started, mostly on fresh things and meats. So far so good. I've had a few complaints but bless them, they've been over-indulged throuout the holidays. Haha x

Are the SW meals still 2 for £5?

They were £3 each but if you bought 3 you got 8 free yogurts.

    Spending over the last week:
    - £41.37 big grocery shop in Aldi
    - £10 at the local food market on Saturday
    - £8.98 on 'bits and bobs' (coffee, squash etc. from the local shop)

Total so far is £116.04 - we're on track as our current food stocks should last us until the end of the weekend, perhaps with a small veg top up. Have informed DH that any other treats or bits and pieces will have to come out of his personal cash or eating out budget!
    Savings target: £25000/£25000

Big meat order done today, and spent over £100. Total spend for January is now: £252.10 and that leaves £67.90 for the rest of the month:)

Zippychick - is there anyway you could change my challenge to £3840 for the year instead of £320 per month?? I am going to do a lot of bulk buying so my months will be up and down I think, cheers:)

£23 spend today, included lots of fruit and bits for dd's catering at school 😞 really need to learn how to limit my shop when she comes with me - I definitely spend much more with her! Will definitely be sitting down tomorrow and doing a proper meal plan for the month and shopping around that. If I need to go to the shops I will make them all wait outside!!

£4 today at Sainbobs - went in with DD for her to get Tupperware - I got lured by chicken crisp being down to a quid for 6 (x2) and then, some clever person invented dark chocolate rolos so I HAD to buy 2 of those (sharing pack! Not on your Nellie ...)
