Hello, could I join and my amount will be £160 a week, I know this is a lot but this is to feed 2 adults and 3 children plus a cat. Also this includes all out goings a week, so activities, groceries and clothes etc.
I hope to get this amount down but slowly. Starting 1st Jan.
  • Count me in please, I will need to tighten my belt (literally) after all the festivities.

    £350 for the month please

Please could I join? My month will run from the 1st - 31st January. My husband has had to make some changes to his diet after an illness which is ongoing so I'm not too sure how much an impact this will have on our spenditure as yet.
Please could you put me down for £400

Hi all, I've put myself down for £400, but having looked at all the Christmas leftovers, I'm hoping we spend more like £150-200 in January!!!! I'll leave my target at £400 though, just in case. :)

  • After a long absence I'd like to scuttle back with my tail between my legs if you'll have me.......?

I've originally budgeted £190 for January for groceries, including the NYE provisions - this breaks down to £30 for NYE and 4x £40 a week for the rest of the month.
Now having looked at what's left over from Xmas I'm hoping to reduce this but won't put a number on it quite yet- if it's less than £190 it will be a success! :)
  • Please can you put me down for £300 for January, I am going to start off gently and hopefully come in under this amount. this is for 2 adults and 5 children aged 12, 10, 8, 7 and 5.
Also I. Determined to stay part of the challenge as Ive drifted off by March for the past 2 years

Please may I join in as a newbie? We spend far too much on food, have been horrified at how much I spent for Christmas (and how much will no doubt be left over). Have been meaning to join for ages so this is perhaps the final push I need.
It's hard to know how much to budget (as January is a strange month with left overs from Christmas) but please can you put me down for £250 for this month? To run 1st to 31st please. This is for all food, cleaning stuff, toiletries and alcohol.
    Thanks
