£6.97 in M's today on fruit, milkshakes (OH's vice) and cleaning products (I don't have a separate cleaning kitty)
Takes my total to 62.47/160
I don't keep track of what OH spends on his lunches - he tends to buy sandwich supplies for a couple of days and keep them at work, and takes all the other bits for his lunch from home. I might try and track this as well next month, it's not a huge amount but still intrigues me.February Grocery Challenge - £120.63/1500 -

Hi all,
I'd like to join in too, if that's ok?
Kinda half started this last year but both the OH and I are determined to cut out all unnecessary expenditure in 2016
Can we please be put down for £240 for our January budget? This will be for 2 adults and 2 cats and, as the months go by, I'm hoping to get this figure down.
This will run from today to Jan 25th.
Thanks!January Food Budget: £0/ £500

I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas. I have tried and failed to do the GC over the last few years, but over the last few months I have started meal planning again and it is amazing how much it helps, both in not buying items we won't use, but also just for daily organisation when it comes to tea time and after school clubs!
Loads left over from Christmas so plenty of meals there and plenty in the cupbaords and freezer. Normally, I spend around £350 a month, but would like for January 2016 to manage on £200.January 2024 Grocery Challenge - January 2024 (£65.08/ £150) / Yearly (£65.08 / £3000 (£250/month) )

Hi all
Please can I join as I am hoping to reduce my hours at work next year and need to get a hold on my spending. It is just me and adult DS3 and two cats so I will aim for £160/month for food and cleaning. I think I have enough Xmas toiletries to last me a few months, thank you kind friends and family xGrocery challenge 2025: £650/1500 annual budget0 -
Please count me in. I'd like to put in for £400. This may seem a lot for 2 adults, 2 children, 2 cats and a tortoise but I generally budget for £80 per week - we get paid each Friday and I want to get into the habit of doing our supermarket shop that day so I know what we have for the rest of the week. By February I'd like this down to £70 per week, March - £60 per week and then stick on an even keel.0
