Hello :hello: I'm trying to throw all my money at savings and have been lurking for the last few days debating whether it's worth joining this thread now or waiting until the next "chapter" - but one thing that's become a sticking point for me is that my current balance of my Virtual Sealed Pot is in excess of what I've saved so far this year (as it includes monies saved in 2015) and I don't know whether to use my 2016 savings so far as my starting figure or use the total balance in my VSP?
Would anyone have any recommendations on which way is best? (There's less than £200 difference between the two sums thanks to some big payouts in January if that makes a difference)I'll carry on thinking about it and I'll be back later today with some sort of semi-concrete plan I hope

:hello: I'm back as promised with my plan
Current balance is £419.99 so to get to £1k I'll need to save £580.01 before March 19th... fingers crossed this will be achievable. So could I join officially with a goal of £580.01 please?

Oh I have fallen off the wagon so bad and have spent a bunch of the money I'm supposed to be saving, I'm an idiot.
I just can't handle having that money "available" in my current account, it just gets spent! I will start switching it out to an overdraft savings account instead.
Can you mark me back down to £0 of £10000 -
Morning everyone,
I have finally made it and managed to pay off the last bit (£48) of my £263 debt for my store card.
So now stands at £263/£263.:j
I want to see if there is another debt that can realistically pay off before the end of the challenge.
I would like to say well done to DonnaDynamo, MrsHubbard and Calling14. Thanks Amara for running this challenge.
