Annoyed myself greatly. Had to get new prescription glasses and went over my budget on some I really really liked. Seemed worth it at the time but I've put myself back on getting this debt paid off! Grr. I'm stupid.0

Well if you wear them everyday don't be harsh on yourself need to feel good . I have taken medicash out which cost of 15.00 a month, claim up to 110.00 a year for glasses plus dentist same. More or less pays for itself. You don't miss that amount each month.LBM 13039 1.1.13 Now £0 Finally Debt FreeMortgage free Oct 2019:)EFund/savings £25000 10/11/220 -

Ooh that sounds good!
My old job had a similar thing, £138 by salary sacrifice gave me £150 for dental and £300 for osteopath (on top of lots of other things I didn't use) and I've been considering using it again.
Because I'm a business owner, my business pays for my eye test so that bit is OK. But when it comes to glasses, I'm a fool and can't stand the cheap NHS-looking ones! I ended up with a pair for £169 + £35 antiglare. Above my budget! But they are lovely, and this is the first time I've needed to wear glasses everyday (previously I wore them for computer only).
Of course, I've managed to leave them on my bedside :rotfl: My eyesight isn't so bad I can't see, just that I get eye strain by the end of the day hence needing to wear them all day now. So I forgot this morning and am just wearing my old ones!0 -
I need the anti glare can't drive at night without that, otherwise my eyes aren't too bad. Only wear reading glasses but usually do 2-1 deal.
15.00 off for me today 661/910 249.00 to go.:j

This looks like the perfect challenge to get me going again. I'm going to start with one of my credit cards which has the highest interest rate and a challenging but not impossible balance of £1,852.79, by May 4 2016.
What's the number in peoples signatures btw (e.g. #13)? Number of 1v100 challenges, or number of days, or ???Weekly Spend Challenge - £0.00 / £40Jan. NSD - 0 / 01v100 pt 21 #20 - £0 / £1,852.79LBM - Jan. 25 2016 - £21,400.82Half My Debt In 2016 - £0 / £21,400.82 (0%)0 -
