    Hello!
Something not quite right with DH's car- again. I really want to have stairs carpets replaced and my customers don't pay me on time. Result: no payments from me. Maybe situation will improve soon. I really hope so.
Big smiles for Karb and Baby Betty :)
  • Well I bit the bullet today and paid the money that I cwtched actually off the debt....the money was just too much of a temptation...hopefully they won't cotton on and start charging me interest.

Amara what sort of business do you run ?

    Cleaning business, just little company.
  • So presumably its households you clean or is it businesses?

If it is then depending on how much you want to ruffle feathers, you could ask for money to be left up front. If it's companies then it might be worth getting into the habit of when an invoice becomes automatically sending out a reminder letter. I've worked as a credit controller so if it would help I could draft you up a letter and pm it to you.(in my experience if I know a company is going to be a pita then they are the ones I make sure are paid on time)

That really sucks, I am feeling your pain as I now need new disc brakes and pads, 2 new tyres and I managed to put my car key through the washing machine. Its gonna cost about £500 to get all that sorted! I am going to put it off for a couple of months just to get this debt paid first and save enough to cover it properly.

So as it is pay day, I paid £450 off the debt today! Update in signature. So close to paying it off...I hope I can be extra frugal and get this credit card paid off once and for all this month
    LBM 27/01/14 - £6,663.82
    Current total debt - £3,530.22
