Let me guess... his mother/father walked out on him when he was young.

He now pushes everyone away so he can go 'see... they all leave me in the end'. Presuming he's/you're gay, it's obvious someone has reacted very badly to him coming out.

Unless you want to/are willing to play counsellor, you have to either accept the fact he has issues that are maybe too deep for you to get to the bottom of.

A man's best friend is his dog. If he treats his dog like that, how do you think he'll treat you in the future?

Hope not too harsh or presumptuous - my OH has a zillion issues due to childhood, abuse, bipolar, self image - I chose to stay and we are very happy right now.

I didn't electrocute him and anyway, what happened to having a sense of humor?
There's having a sense of humour and doing something that might upset or cause pain to somebody else.

If it had been me you would have been on your a*se in the gutter.

Why you even thought this might be funny is beyond me.

but let's face it, this isn't the reason I started this post to be told that it's not funny. You haven't read the post properly. No pain was inflicted.

The point is he reacted in a way that was excessive. Your comments do not help me.

Doesn't sound like a keeper, like your last boyfriend. Can't you find someone who is kind, communicative and respectful?

    This ^

Ditch this guy and then have some counselling to find out why you're making such bad choices.

So you only want comments that agree with you - you should have put that in your OP.

I don't think it was excessive. If you'd tried a stunt like that with me you'd have had more than a few bruises.

You two are clearly not compatible.
