Yes it was that one. It has become a bit of a ritual in the last few years, a group from Mr N's work all meet together and we have an hour on ice then pig out on hot chocolate etc so it's good fun. I think it is a bit cheaper if you book on line, I can't remember as it was organised a while ago. The skates are quite good, I've got arthritis in one toe which can be a nuisance buying shoes etc, but their skates have plenty of adjustment. I love sitting watching the skaters as well, it is just very Christmassy and happy - and I don't usually do kids!Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -

I'm struggling to keep up this week.
I had a bit of a blitz of the kitchen and have done three loads of laundry. Have also posted some pressies and overseas cards.
I wanted to do some wrapping tonight but was too tired so just vegged. Hopefully will have more energy tomorrow as I'm panicking that the house will not look presentable for Christmas at this rate.

Good evening, It has been a very day and it is going to be a busy weekend. I am just going to update my list and then make a start. I eventually got the Christmas tree up tonight as well.
Monday ~ Grotty Kitchen and Gloomy Dining Room
Mop the floors
Wipe the big appliances and units
Clear and wipe a shelf or window sill
Clean the oven
Extras
Check through Christmas ornaments, do any need throwing away or replacing
Wash the windows
Clean the top of the kitchen wall units
Dust and Deweb
Christmas Extras
Wrap all the presents for family/friends
Tuesday ~ Luscious Living Room, hallway, stairs
Vacuum the stairs and hallway and living room
Wash the windows
Sort coats, shoes and bags
Wipe the paintwork in the hallway and up the stairs.

Defluff and deweb these rooms

Stick all your cards up
Replace the batteries in your annoying singing things
Wednesday ~ Brilliant Bathroom, Sociable Study and other grotty places!
Clean the loo and the bath and the shower and the basins!
Defragment PC and run spyware scans while scrubbing
Wash windows and any chairs/sofas
Declutter floors
Wash shower curtain
Uni/Family/Work
Make a dentist appointment for the kids
Complete question 2 on uni assessment

Complete first draft of assignment for uni
Catch up with the thread

Wipe down ALL the paintwork you keep putting off
Choose a manky kitchen cupboard and make it shine.. the inside.. NOT the outside!
List baby things (removed from ds2's room) for sale on F*ceb*y
Iron dd clothes and put them away
Clean out any pets
Clean the pantry or airing cupboard or understairs cupboard or shed..
